.this wouldn't such a loss if our hc actually had a defensive or offensive system of his own. This was the problem with hiring a career dline coach that had never run a successful side of the ball.

Happens to Saban every year. They don't look like shite.

Irrelevant.

Covid season, big opt outs

Understandable, I'll let O have this one.

Starting QB gets hurt both seasons

Best DB in country that you counted on can’t stay healthy

Starting running back not cleared by NCAA before first game (self inflicted)

O has been recruiting since he got here in 2015 and his main selling point is that he would get recruits to come here. Why do they look so unoragnized and unsure of themselves on the field?

quote:

We need after 19 it would be a few rough years

Not with all of the recruiting supposedly going on and the offseason hype our coach was building up. Then again he said Pelini was better than Aranda so...who knows.

Its a tough job, thats why he makes crazy money.
1.Just win the games baby
2 Protect and increase the brand
3.Develop NFL talent,
4.Stay off NCAA sanctions.

His grade is not good enough.

Just admit you’re in the “I’m in favor of giving O a lifetime contract” crowd.

This is all true. This fan base for some reason only wants to see the negatives. I don’t like that we lost the game but this team is playing hard and is well coached. Look around college football all these favorites are having hard times. Everyone’s darling ole miss Arkansas and auburn will have 2 conference losses next week cut O some slack.

You serious Clark?

Maybe you should re read

Yes I'm serious. What are all the 'facts?' Brennan got hurt in both seasons, yes.

The rest is speculation or opinion, as I stated before. If you want it to be factual, put it all out there.

Put together the best team and staff of all time in 2019... followed by a mass exodus of Talent, rightfully so

-O hired Brady but let's not pretend that he discovered him. He didn't. He didn't discover Burrow either and Aranda was a hire Miles made. He reaped the benefits of that.

Lost both coordinators

-And hired new ones for the subsequent two seasons. Why is that? It's almost like the hires were bad.

Wife running on him, forced to divorce

-Nobody on here knows what happened. He was forced to divorce her? Because he seems so dedicated off the field. Speculation.

Covid season, big opt outs

-So did every other team.

Starting QB gets hurt both seasons

-True

Best DB in country that you counted on can’t stay healthy

-He did play so he was healthy and got hurt again so that is true but that aside, I thought O was a master recruiter? Speculation

Starting running back not cleared by NCAA before first game (self inflicted)

- Again, where's the depth? See above

Breaking in new coordinators, new qb, very young team

-Already mentioned the new coordinators that he hired for the last two seasons, one of which was never interviewed.

-This team has 15 or 16 starters. Hardly a 'very young' team.

Everybody has problems. A great coach figures out how to succeed despite adversity. That’s why they get paid the big bucks.

Pretty close, but I think you got the wrong spouse at fault unless you have a close family source that's better than mine.

Never make a thread supporting Coach O in anyway, you will be crucified. I know personally. Lol I didnt even make a post supporting him, I started a topic saying i know its time to look for someone else but took time to acknowledge that i orginally liked the hire and he did win us a title and we got a heisman and blitnakoff award winner from that team. But all good things come to an end... my downvotes werent as bad as yours haha but pretty bad. I am not for him anymore bc of title IX and all this bullcrap the last two years. But our fellow ranters will get personal and hateful if youve ever felt a way that they havent. In the words of Metallica "Sad But True" and in the words of Coach O, " Geaux Tigahs"
