Where we are is pretty much what my expectation was for this team this year. The ugly outing vs. Florida and Arkansas were very disappointing and I do think WW needs to reconsider his defensive philosophy over the offseason and I think he will.

People are complaining...myself sometimes, because of the talent we DO have and our lack of defense. Nevertheless, LSU basketball is in a good of a spot as it's been in almost 15 years.
Do you want Trent Johnson's 55 ppg offense back? He would call motionless offenses after Thorton and Taz left.
Want JJ and the most stagnant and stale offense imaginable with horrific gameplans on opposition (go watch NCSU game from '14)?

I expected a 4th-6th finish and a 7-10 seed, so we actually finished better than I thought and are on schedule for the tournament seed. With you on defense. Having a deeper team and better athletes next season hopefully starts turning the page there. Yesterday was the best defensive effort I’ve seen from Watford all year, if there’s a time to D up its now or never.

WW has done a very good job. LSU is a sleeping giant waiting for someone like WW to show up.
The phone call really cost LSU.
No Bigs on the roster.. No Bigs in the recruiting class.
Have to,have a couple of at least SEC average Bigs to go deep in the tournament.
Hoping we get one or two before April. He does have one coming for 2021. And we do have a 3 Star for Oak Hill. But that is not enough to take the next step

Apparently you are too stupid to explain this to. We finished tied for 2nd in the SEC not 3rd. It isn’t even up for debate

LSU finished tied for 2nd at 12-4. Just like they finished tied for 2nd this year.

Yes a tiebreaker for the conference tournament not the regular season standings lol. Why is this so hard to understand. Are you saying Tennessee and Auburn weren’t co-champs 2 years ago?

We are bringing in leblanc, oneal and ezewiro, all are bigs. Were also still recruiting frank anselem and Moussa cisse a pair of 6'10 guys.
Dont really need true big guys for any reason to compete in conference or make a tourney run. Villanova won a national title by playing a 6'8 and 6'6 guy as their bigs.

Boat you are right about 05. I saw that we were west 2 in the tournament bracket and didn’t look at the records. We absolutely were tied for 2nd overall that season too.
