Still think we have a player in Williams too. He’s still probably the youngest sophomore in the country and has never really been healthy.
I agree, I think he'll see increased playing time as the year goes on and I think it will be earned and will bode well for us the rest of the year.

We’d have been a typical Wade team i think. Lots of talent but not necessarily cohesive. 6-8 seed.
Agreed. I loved Wade beyond what was healthy but this was definitely a frustrating thing about him. It just didn’t seem like, no matter how much talent he’d have, that his teams were gonna be better than that his teams would be much better than that.
I just never got the feel he was gonna be at the level of a Duke or anyone like that. Good but not great is about where his ceiling seemed to be.
I wish McMahon had the charisma to excite the fans like Wade did but I think he will exceed Wades success in time. Obviously the circumstances are different and we don’t know what he’s gonna be hit with but I do think he’s a better tactician and at least close to being as good on the trail based on the interest he seems to have generated among prospects despite the cloud hanging over us that doesn’t seem like it will ever go away

we FINALLY rebound the fricking ball. it's nice to see after 20 got damn years of not rebounding the ball.

Last night he made good adjustments at halftime and his team never quit. But it should not have been that close. Miller shot 10% FG and 16% 3PFG.

The Portal should have us back to competing again within the next two seasons IMO
The portal will be MM best friend. Much better X and O coach then WW. Honestly what he has done this year and I'm not even talking about in game coaching but the fact that he put a team together last minute is quite remarkable. SEC slate will be extremely tough. If we come out of it at around .500, it will be a pretty good year.

He'll win a lot of games at LSU
Fan support will be crucial to future success and program building players

I’m excited to see what McMahon can do once he gets more talent in. That he’s cobbled together a decent team is impressive. KJ and Miller are really our only two legitimate game changers in my view.

We actually run sets. Love it

KJ Williams is our best player.

The jury is still out. It's been a French pastry schedule so far, with nary a conference game and no opponents so far in the top 100, except K-State (a loss thanks to third-world officiating).

TRant fired him yesterday 34 seconds into the first half.

I think this team actually has decent talent, it’s just that they are all new playing together and most in a new system. I think you’ll see considerable improvement in this team as the year progresses and as the team gels. I’m not sure if there are enough good wins in this team to qualify for the NCAA tournament at the end of the year, but I could see it making a deep run in the NIT when the team should be playing it’s best ball.

Started with no players and built a roster.
It’s not a roster that will likely be a team that wins a majority of SEC games.
He knows this and is/will be working to improve the talent level both thru recruiting and portal.
It’s thin now.

Good coach, needs time and more players. It was nice to see us actually run a play at the end of the game yesterday...as opposed to Wade's teams. Recruit well and Mac will win a lot of games here.

Retards who still can't accept Wade fricked himself over.
New guy inherited a shite show, is producing and will have a solid team by SEC play.

Work in progress. Hard to tell since he basically had to build this year's team from scratch.
I think making the tournament would be an exceptional result for this year. But I'm not going to grab my pitchfork if he doesn't bring them to the tournament in year 1.
