LSU hasn't competed for titles due to mediocre passing offenses. we've had WR talent but they seem to have trouble getting open and our QB doesn't seem to be able to get them the ball with good timing.

i'm tired of having crappy passing attacks. I sure hope Brennen and our new wr's are coached up to make this happen (and coaches call the plays)

I am hopeful of the SE / Sullivan combined input...
one from a QBs perspective the other from a RECEIVER

Even if this were anywhere close to being true, you dont think its an issue when your WR coach is the most important coach on the team?

It’s probably Aranda

And then Ensminger.

Although I guess sullivan is in charge of passing game?

Idk. But I really Think we just haven’t been playing the most talented recovers. Gage is ok Chark I thinknis A bit overrated

One name: Aranda

LSU won't compete for anything but the SEC sewer without a brick wall for a defense

What a surprise, the old retired poster likes that the old retired coach was hired

You're right. When did he last coach WRs in the NFL and how long has it been since he coached a WR to the pro-bowl?

He will be able to get a sweet deal on some senior movie tickets for team night on Fridays before a game.

Just because a coach is old doesn't mean they can't coach well, but Sullivan is a career WR coach and a good one.

But he's never really been a successful coordinator at any level. Why would he all of a sudden be good at coordinating a passing game?

Do you honestly think our WR’s have been the problem in our passing game? And septuagenarian Sully is gonna fix it?

Just spitballing here but is it even remotely possible that QB is the issue?

We have 0 QB’s in the NFL and several WR.

Is it because he won’t recruit? Or Is it bc we already have another WR coach on staff?

I think it's pretty well documented that we've had issues with WRs that don't get separation, run poor or wrong routes and drops and struggle to get off of jams.

QB performance/development is problem #1, but if you don't think WR play hasn't been an issue you haven't been paying attention.

Dupre was supposed to be the #1 WR recruit. Is he even on an NFL roster? How's Dural doing? OBJ and Landry are amazing, but that was almost 5 years ago.
