Well done, that game was revenge for the 3 interception game at Auburn the year before. QB was one Jaime Howard, Dad of our current freshman QB.

Watch the videos posted, there's definitely a makeshift whistle coming from the stands.
Whether it was actually the OP or not, don't care, he's the first to claim it so he gets the credit.
Legit CSB

I was there.
Just watched some of that video. Those were the days when Tiger Stadium was filled with the real fans.

Frick Patrick Nix
Frick Auburn
Frick Auburn fans
Frick Auburn fans with their ugly orange blazers
Frick Tommy Tubberville
Frick Dameyune Craig (POS wouldn't even wear an LSU shirt when he coached here )
Frick Bo Nix
Frick them showing Pat Nix in the stands when his son was playing
Frick the plains
Frick toomers Corner
Did I miss anything?
I was there that night in the student section and remember that whistle. The stadium was crazy. We were so hungry for a winner after 6 straight losing seasons.

Did I score two points for the Tigers without ever dressing out? Yes. Was I responsible for winning the football game? Also yes. Was Gerry Dinardo's Bring Back the Magic effort bouyed by that win, that I'm responsible for, setting the stage for LSU to become one of the most successful college football programs for two or three decades because I blew through a water bottle cap that sounded a lot like a whistle? Yes. It was me. It was all me and I did it. You're welcome. *

Thanks for the story you did good ??! Mine is very different and I can’t remember when or what game but I had my boys with me and it was my 32 yr olds first game. Anyway it might have been the game with my oldest who is 39 I don’t remember. I can tell stories better than writing them but anyway, During the Pledge of Allegiance (Back when everyone stood up or didn’t kneel anyway) I still put my hand over my heart because that’s what you did. I elbowed my oldest to do and little brother looked up (lil brother idolized big brother ) and did the same.
So at the end of the Pledge…
And the home of the brave. I didn’t mean to offend but I sang
And the Home of the Tigers ! Ya gotta understand my voice is still at 65 louder than a freight train BOOMING ! If that gives you any idea ??sonwhen I sang that , everybody around looked at me kinda like Wtf but then smiled and cheered and high 5’ing me, (wish I could go back in time) and the next few games it seemed like more and more people around me were doing it and then everyone around me was. This would have been south endzone (opposite the band) caticorner sp. about half way up in corner of the bowl I think ? The more I write about it the more I see me in a different place But it Happened ok ! ??
So please tell me does anybody out there remember this ?
It musta been in 90s , early 2000s maybe ? It seems like I hear it on the TV (when it’s on a real channel) but maybe it’s because I want to hear it ? I have not been to a game in years (spank?? emoji) I’ve tailgated but just can’t afford tickets anymore, not for the big games anyway and I do live in LA. anymore ??. So please let me know Did I start something that still lives or did it die out ? Geaux Tigers !
Also to any military out there I don’t or didn’t mean to offend Anyone ! if Tiger fans out there aren’t still doing this… it really sounds Good !
I AM LEGEND or am I ? This is the question !
Thanks again
