For what remedy? Elaborate.

I don't know to what you are referring, so I can only advise caution. As long as LSU is a defendant in the federal suit by the SEC, our hands are pretty tied on any such discussion. I know, the suit is stupid. I know the suit is vengeful, not based in reality.
However, the SEC is just waiting for LSU to give them a chance to go to court and LSU should refrain from doing so until that suit is inevitably dismissed with prejudice.
JMHO.

If a conference member is in violation of SEC bylaws, can another conference member sue to enforce the SEC's agreed upon bylaws against such conference member and impose appropriate penalties for non-compliance?
Let's say hypothetically, a team decided to roster and play a player deemed ineligble by the NCAA and/or the SEC. If the SEC refused to enforce its rules for such violation and took no action to get the violating member to cease, is there any relief available to the other members?
For example: If in the future, Alabama decides their RB room needs help and in this alternate universe, they get an alabama state court judge to issue a TRO against the NCAA allowing Najee Harris or Jahmyr Gibbs to come back for a season. If the SEC elects to NOT enforce it's newly passed rule against former pro players, can the courts provide any relief to non-violating members? Could Tennessee bring suit in federal court against Alabama and the SEC to force the SEC to enforce its bylaws against Alabama?

Brother, Mississippi State has been shaking cowbells against the rules forever. Guess it depends on severity of infraction, but if the conference doesn’t raise the issue on their own, why would a university think they’d do better in court?
Again, care to elaborate on the bylaw and remedy sought for more appropriate context?

Consider a correlate. Can an HOA member sue another for not cutting their grass?
It’s a voluntary association. Your remedy is to leave if the administration doesn’t enforce their own rules. And I’m a lawyer saying this, suing another member would be a pussy move.

I know I put it in my hypo that alabama would be sue'd as well, but in your correlate it would be more like can a HOA member sue the HOA to force the HOA to stop your neighbor from painting his house pink.
