re: I’m still upset about the targeting of LSU’s Star QB twice!

And what can be done about it now?
To continue pointing out the incompetence of SEC officiating. To not even be reviewed or called and overturned is troubling.

The hit and rule clearly show youre wrong.
Let me spell it slow for retard reading comprehension.
When in doubt it is a foul. It wasn’t in doubt. Forearm, defender helmetAnd fist all contact to Joes head and neck area
It was clearly stated before the season that it will be harder to get a targeting penalty. They want more than just one criteria to be met.
If Joe was defenseless at that point then I would say you have an argument.
Obviously the ref had no doubt it wasnt targeting.
Had Delpit or Stingley made that hit and be flagged your bleeding vagina would be all up in here bitching about the pussification of football

The word “and” means something.
It’s requires more than just contact to the helmet. There has to be an intent to contact the head and neck area. The contact to Burrow’s facemask on the hit out of bounds was clearly incidental. Auburn’s DB’s helmet was turned away from Burrow and the contact was AU’s earhole to Burrow’s Facemask.

you're right it was no doubt about the call, and they just ignored that it happened. Pretty obvious call. I thought at one time, that if a call such as this was missed, that the SEC office could enforce the suspension of the player who did the targeting. Since it's not been mentioned I'm sure that isn't a thing.

When you’re wrong and can’t win, name call. That’s all you got?

If an lsu player had done the same thing to Nix not a word would be said about it on here.

Tell that to D White last year. Typical SEC officiating. “Intent” is not mentioned in the rule.

Yeah, that was a horrible call and is irrelevant to this situation.

Are you illiterate? What do you thing the word “target” means?
Under your ridiculous interpretation of the rule, every player on LSU and AU’s defense would have been ejected for targeting yesterday. How many AU tacklers made contact with Clyde’s head and neck? How many LSU’s defenders made contact with AU RBs’ head and neck?

Joe was a running back at that time, not defenseless player.
Good & hard hit....Joe took it because we needed that 1st Down

It wasn’t targeting. Stop being a bitch.
How about instead of being an a-hole to someone, you attempt to teach someone why it wasn't targeting.

The hit to the knee was worse than the sideline. I would have been pissed if they threw a flag on us for a hit line that.
Brown should get the Chaz Ramsey treatment for being a dirty piece of shite

Burrow wasn’t defenseless. He was the ball carrier. It was good, clean, football play. The one at his knees wasn’t. But they threw a flag on it. I don’t know what some of you are complaining about.
Posted on 10/27/19 at 1:40 pm to TrueTigerTale
please explain how that play was targeting, besides i'm an lsu fan & i said so. was it helmet to helmet? did he launch himself into burrow? what was it?

quote:the real issue is that these calls/nocalls are so inconsistent. Devin White gets targeted by the SEC officiating crew and an unnamed linebacker at (insert team here) makes a brutal hit on a QB and no flag from an SEC official that is standing 10 ft. away. POS SEC REF's.
Stop being a little bitch. It wasn’t targeting. People like you are why football has become so pussified
Posted on 10/27/19 at 1:51 pm to TrueTigerTale
If those were consistent no calls across college football, I’d be happy. But since they’re not, I’m with you
Posted on 10/27/19 at 1:51 pm to TrueTigerTale
There weren't two targets on Burrow, but OK.
Posted on 10/27/19 at 3:16 pm to TigerDat
He was going out of bounds. Not targeting but a vulnerable defensiveless player. Believe me if we hit Tua in Tuscaloosa like that it will be flagged
Posted on 10/27/19 at 3:18 pm to TrueTigerTale
austin deculus held tho

He wasn’t defenseless he was a runner. Calm down it wasn’t targeting
