Nunez played a big hand in it. Ultimately Alleva did make the call so he'll get some credit but mum's the word that the hard work of this search and capture was done by Nunez who has a big basketball history.

It certainly helps when that coach reaches out to you and expresses interest in the job and you have an assistant AD who played for one of the best coaches in SEC history, Billy Donovan

Does not make up for his botching the first les firing. Botching the none existent coaching search when he fired les the second time. Hiring O. Botching this o coordinator search. Guys a world class frick up and needs to be put on the first train out of BR.

I was shocked to see posts after LSU beat Auburn suggesting "playoffs" for the Tigers! And this was only 2 weeks after the Troy humiliation.

I don't think so, not this time. I haven't seen this much negativity about the program in a really long time. I'm not talking about just on the rant either, the media and everyone else sees trouble on the horizon. It's going to take a whole lot of proving to do for most fans to feel comfortable and confident with this staff.
