Never change Ree.

. He’s been caught so many times changing his narratives to fit his arguments. It’s become laughable at this point

I'm not sure where some of you guys are from, but where I come from, if a man calls another man a bitch, someone's getting hurt and hurt bad.

No rebuilding necessary

This wasn't a job that required a steady hand to continue forward with the current direction. The program had been extremely mediocre under Les since 2013.

SEC records
2013 5-3
2014 4-4
2015 5-3
2016* 5-3
2017 6-2

*Les was canned 4 games in

So in O's first year he managed to have a pretty good SEC record albeit against an awful SEC schedule. I'd be surprised if the guy found success here but let's stop pretending he's tearing down what Miles built. Les did that on his own.

Being a RC does not mean you get to pick the players that will be offered and signed. If the HC likes to recruit guards for the O-line and move them to tackles that is what you do.

In other words, O dindu nuffin.

Mark Stoop or O

This is a tough one for me.

Oh it’s tough for you to choose which is better, a coach who won a natl champ and played for at least one more if not two or a 31-34 career loser.

Well lsu already made that choice.

GTFO with these stupid troll threads.

LSU could have done something stupid, like A&M and pay a guy $75 million over 10 yrs, to not win a national championship.

The one time LSU broke the bank for a Football HC it worked out pretty well.

Alleva hired Canada. O wanted E. It was a condition of his HC job to bring in big name OF. Canada was a POS from day one.

I couldn't agree more. I may not agree with your stance on O, but the daily threads that bring on the rehashing of the same conversation are pointless. September can't get here fast enough. It's going to be a LONG. LONG summer.

Thisll be Os official first season with his own recruits and scheme.

As full-time HC, this is Orgeron’s second full season.

As HC, this is Orgeron’s third season.

As an LSU coach, this is Orgeron’s fourth season.

Regardless of all that, Orgeron was sold to the fanbase as a plug-and-play continuity hire, a hire that would not need to completely re-build the program, so the standard 3-4 years to build is not warranted or deserved, and he knew that when he took the job. Orgeron was not an outside hire.

Orgeron was a “win now” hire, and 2018 the ball is in his court to do so...Orgeron has to win 9+ games in 2018 or he will be terminated. 2018 is his third season serving as Head Coach at LSU.

no one cares what you want to hear. He has built up the team in the trenches and overall depth and now with two good coordinators and good potential at QB, team seems ready to roll and be a part of the SEC west picture. Did a good job turning the team around early in the season last year when many had given up. Also nice turnaround once he took over as interim in 2016. Now the blocks are in place.

Maybe this year is his year. I dont know. I dont even pretend to know. But lets not act like he hasnt been given a chance. He has failed on his chances so far.

If he dominates this year then Ill be the first to eat crow. Bookmark this and call me out when it happens please. Please.

Yeah, you're right. Not sure if LSUMIKEV is a man or not, but I think LSUMIKEV got his/her feelings hurt.

quote: How long was he the RC under Les? You sure do like to flip-flop on your stance about o being the RC. No matter how long he held the position. Today you're saying o was just the RC under Les and had no control over the class. This is what you posted on 3/9/18 about o being the RC, regarding LSU signing the 7th ranked class for 2017. "He was the recruiting coordinator from the time that Frank left until the time he was named the interim HC. He was as responsible if not more for the class as Miles." The thread was titled "re: After reading the story by Ross Dellenger - I feel better about Coach O than ever!" and it was a thread made by TigerCliff777. You're all over the place and you change your tune however you need to, to help o from having to shoulder any blame whatsoever for anything that seems to be an issue. Never change Ree.

Bump. Ree, can you explain your inconsistent views as noted in the quoted post above?
