I refuse to make a single judgement about O until the first 4 games of the season.

Thisll be Os official first season with his own recruits and scheme. So.

bullshite. He was recruiting coordinator under les and he hired canada.

That is what was sold. Continuity. No rebuilding necessary. So I dont want to hear it

Wasn’t he working at a special position before he was made HC? Oh yeah. The recruiting coordinator. Also, O’s resume should clearly show he shouldn’t have his own scheme.

Mark stoops is more qualified to be a head coach than O.

How long was he the RC under Les?

Being a RC does not mean you get to pick the players that will be offered and signed. If the HC likes to recruit guards for the O-line and move them to tackles that is what you do.

Yeah, I'm sure all these great tackles across the country were just begging CEO for a scholly, and Les Miles was like "I ain't havin them darn tackles ruinin my gaurd-filled O-line!!"

Geez, you people.

If the HC and OL Coach like to recruit Sun Belt and SWAC level Guards for the O-Line and move them to tackles, that is what you do.

Yep, ole Les and Jeff have pretty much destroyed the OL. Doubt if Cregg can do much in one season.

O because he comes a lot cheaper than Stops would. LSU could have done something stupid, like A&M and pay a guy $75 million over 10 yrs, to not win a national championship. It doesn’t matter who LSU would have hired or any other sec program for that matter. They are all sucking hind tit to Bama for the foreseeable future

“This will be Os first season”

Why didn’t he have a scheme his 1st season?

Coach O has been at LSU since 2015, been recruiting for LSU since 2015, interim coach since 2016, HC since 12-2016, and he owns this season good or bad.

Many more articles like this one. But, I'm sure you are right and all of the people who did the articles have no idea what they are talking about.

Les Miles' recruiting is responsible for Alabama's bludgeoning of LSU's offensive line

LSU's offensive line woes vs. Alabama started on the recruiting trail under Les Miles.

The Tigers' offense was stifled for the second year in a row by a stingy Alabama defense, and the answers to the whys are easily addressed by the butt-whipping the LSU offensive line endured in both contests.

This group was considered a strength for LSU, but it looked like anything but that on Saturday night. So where did it all go wrong? It starts on the recruiting trail.

I would argue that the Tigers started three guards in Teuhema, Weathersby and Boutte, one center in Will Clapp and one tackle in Ethan Pocic. However, only Teuhema and Boutte played the positions they are best suited to play. Under Les Miles, the Tigers seldom signed prototypical offensive tackles to man the edges up front. It may be hard to notice against lesser opponents, but it becomes glaringly obvious against much tougher foes like Alabama, who deploy a front seven that brings both power and speed to the fight.

Since you already know what's gonna happen in the next 10 years, could you list the Super Bowl winners, World Series winners and some lotto numbers? Thanks.

no one cares what you want to hear. He has built up the team in the trenches and overall depth and now with two good coordinators and good potential at QB, team seems ready to roll and be a part of the SEC west picture. Did a good job turning the team around early in the season last year when many had given up. Also nice turnaround once he took over as interim in 2016. Now the blocks are in place.

You sure do like to flip-flop on your stance about o being the RC. No matter how long he held the position.

Today you're saying o was just the RC under Les and had no control over the class. This is what you posted on 3/9/18 about o being the RC, regarding LSU signing the 7th ranked class for 2017.

"He was the recruiting coordinator from the time that Frank left until the time he was named the interim HC. He was as responsible if not more for the class as Miles."

The thread was titled "re: After reading the story by Ross Dellenger - I feel better about Coach O than ever!" and it was a thread made by TigerCliff777.

You're all over the place and you change your tune however you need to, to help o from having to shoulder any blame whatsoever for anything that seems to be an issue.

Never change Ree.

Lolz

Thanks for putting in the effort to show precisely how much of a dolt Ree is. I’m too lazy but I’m glad someone did it
