He doesn't have it. The kind of commitment, financial and otherwise, that this hire will require is above his pay grade. BoS approval will be required, and he isn't going to make that commitment without running it by them in advance.

I agree with Governor Landry. We all agree with Gov Landry. Coaches' contracts are out of control and nonsensical. He's taking a stand against it. Good for him.

Everything he just said on Mascona I agree with with !! The problem is no other big time universities are doing incentive based contracts, so if he is going to mandate this, then be prepared for a bargain basement coach.

At the end of the day BK was the active coach with the most wins. He was a good coach just not great
