people need to realize...this is the third time miles has had to 'fix' the offense.

jimbo, crowton, and now stud.

one common denominator, my friends.

Never thought Jimbo was a problem. Crowton was. Stud is up for differing views at this point but I've barely considered him a real OC until this year and even now I'm not too sure.

I think I get it now. They don't like anybody making fun of Les Miles.

No, your post was terrible and I doubt a third string nobody is truly getting the last laugh on anything. You somehow think this ginger kid that screwed us over in the 11th hour is a good guy in all of this but I don't. Why that is even remotely relevant in this thread is beyond me but when your threads get deleted and you think it's a gem, you must find a way to post it somewhere. Just happened to be here unfortunately.

there will come a point when our defense isnt good enough, and our offense has to consistently put its team on its back and will it to victory.

next years defense may not be as good as years past, so the offense will have no choice but to put up points to win.

I agree that next year will be that year. Should be interesting. I'm nervous.

Kind of like the last few games. Our young offense made tremendous strides during the course of the season, that's a sign of good coaching.

I agree.

One common denominator for the 85-20, 49-19 record---LM.

Yep, and this trend probably continues.

Appears to have gone right back to where it was.

It's wildly inconsistent.

There is absolutely no flow to the calls they send out. The 1st possession we run the ball like 6 or 7 times in row and which then forces Mett to pass to p/u the first and we punt.

I'm all about grinding it out when we need to or when it is working and we have them on their heels but, we go to the well too many times. We have possessions were there is absolutely no mix. It's either run-run-run-punt or pass-pass-pass-punt.

Next point, on like our 3rd possession we run to set up the pass and OBJ gets like a 40+ catch and run on the 1st play of the 2nd qtr. We then run three play action passes in a row that are incompleted and have to punt. WTF is that???

Maybe, however there aren't many consistent offenses in college football on the road. We played pretty great offensively at home this year, a young team will struggle on the road.

LSU didn't play great offensively Friday, but they made the plays to win the game with a defense that put them in bad positions throughout the game.

As long as Miles is the HC, you won't have to worry about anything other than under-performing offenses.

The time has already come when our defense isn't good enough to win games for us. The defense has not played a good game since the Bama loss.

I think the defense will be about the same as we have this year but roles have reversed. The linebackers will be the strength and the secondary should be better, especially if Reid comes back (I think he would be wise to do so). The d-line will be a project to start the year but will get better as the young guys get time. I hope that Hunter and Rasco get going. It would be awesome if Mingo and/or Sam come back to take care of unfinished business.

Les won't hire a run first pound them down OC, and he won't bring in a young gun to disrupt staff chemistry. Also, the Wilson factor is out there, he will need a bump at some point. Les is all about continuity for better or worse.
