Wait, you think Florida has a good offense. Their ranked like 50 spots below us.

I'm hoping that Pease will stick around at UF and have a few solid years.. and when Miles retires.. we give him a good hard look. I like his style of offense and I think it would be excellent here.. but obviously, I want him proven. He's been an assistant HC at multiple schools.

I've been extremely impressed by what he's been able to do over there regardless of what their total offense may be ranked nationally.

I'm more concerned with the D next year. With Chavis philosophy of playing very soft and severe talent drop off on the line it's not going to be pretty.

Our defense is hardly soft. We are one of the leaders in the country in turnovers. If anything our defense is aggressive and takes risks.

Still waiting on who departs to make any type of assessment on that front. Pretty certain what we'll have offensively next year from a personnel standpoint. Not true for the defensive side.

We don't just need a new OC.

We need a new OC AND for Les to just sit back and be the HC. Let Chavis run the D and the new guy run the O. Plain as that.

Unfortunately, I don't believe this is going to happen.

Why?

Florida has won this year because of their defense, what has Pease done with that offense and what makes anyone think he'll be a decent head coach?

He's got assistant head coach experience, so obviously he aspires to be a head coach. He was outstanding at Boise St while working with their offense.

Just watch over the next two to three seasons.. Florida is going to be very scary on offense. I just hope they don't get any all-world RBs soon.

Well the last few games were close because our defense didn't perform, our offense carried us multiple times in the second half of the season

He went into a situation at UF devoid of much proven offensive talent (maybe Burton) and made Driskel an effective quarterback based on the surrounding cast, ran the ball effectively, and navigated through a pretty difficult schedule compared to many other SEC teams. He was impressive to me.

Their was plenty of talent at Florida, Reed, Burton, Gilleslie, Debose. He failed to use Debose effectively.

It's funny that a OC gets credit for "navigating through a difficult schedule" with a 100 ranked offense but when LSU does the same, we start looking forward to a mediocre OC taking over as head coach

BTW. LSU will finish with an offense ranked somewhere around the 50s while UF is in the 100s

Damn, Miles is getting the blame for running the D now?

A passing offense of #114 and a total offense of #104 is impressive to you?

If that's the case, why in the hell did you start this thread?

Our passing offense is ranked #90 and total offense 68.

I didn't. I'm not an admin. But you should realize that when they do that it obviously means to stop posting stupid shite.
