Yes, they played very well. I never liked the idea of having to deal with them in the first place. They've got a very good program. I would not have wanted any part of them without Coach Wade.

MSU has 6 NATIONAL Championships and we made the college football playoff 2016. You only have 3.. And one of your Championships was with our coach Nick Saban. Man you guys are delusional.

Yeah you’re right. Y’all clearly have a better football program than us. Nick Saban just decided to leave y’all to make it more of a challenge I guess.

We didn’t have our coach and the refs fricked up. Naz got abused and never got a call.

Always the victim. Poor us. We are insufferable. Worse than Saints fans with the refs or the league or NCAA or Yahoo.

Team had a great run. Wade, or even John Wooden, wouldn’t have mattered. We were beaten by a very good Michigan State team that played great tonight. It wasn’t even competitive. They played great, just like they have in past tournaments.

What difference would Wade have made? This team played the exact same way under Wade as it did for Benford.

This.

Watching the ball to react to it loses the chess match that is every sport. Team movement kicks the shite out of those who watch the ball.

Don’t think anyone could have beat State last night. You’re right, they came out on fire.

Not even the least bit upset. MSU was the better team yesterday and clearly wanted it more. Coaching was obviously an issue, but I don't think that doomed us from the beginning.

The ball literally bounced their way.

Yeah that flagrant was an embarrassment for the officials. Dude went over Reid’s back for a rebound. It should have been a MSU foul.

This is just weak whining instead of accepting the fact that we got shite on. LSU had more free throw attempts and the foul calls were dead even.

Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith both nailed it. I don't remember if it was at halftime of the Yale game or when, but Barkley said LSU had talent 1-8 as good as anyone, but it was sometimes undisciplined and they would get eliminated by a well-coached team. He and Kenny Smith both predicted MSU and I remember thinking at the time, they're probably right. I was hoping the players might be able to elevate their games and intensity, but realistically, this was always going to be the result with Benford versus Izzo.

Every long rebound found a white jersey. I’ve never seen a team get so many bounces go their way.

This! It was unbelievable. Even with them shooting out of their minds, if the rebounding had been even slightly more favorable for us, the game would have been much closer. No doubt, SOME of the long rebounds could have been contended for more forcefully, but many simply bounced RIGHT TO a lone white jersey.

I'm upset when we lose a game we should have won. When a team hands you your arse, you humbly STFU and move on. All the Will Wade shite is a completely separate issue. We played the cards we were dealt. And now it's over.

Mich st did expose us. Mich st plays better basketball. They move the ball. They go in and out. They have multiple players that hit their shots. They block out. They crash the boards on offense.

We do not block out. Esp cially our guards. The long rebounds that we lose are because out guards do not block out anyone. And or do not crash the boards. It would be different if they were releasing for a fast break.. they are not. Anyway. Great year. Fun year. Unfortunately big step back is coming

So would you, or would you not, trade Mich State's football history with LSU's Football History ? Simple question.

MSU was more athletic and physical than I think people gave them credit for. That's not to say they weren't highly ranked. I'm rooting for them to go all the way.
