Florida is just the kind of team to get our struggling defense back on track and Harris could get some confidence because it wont be 24-7 at the start of the 2nd Q. Driskel is the worst QB in the conference with whoever Vandy trots out on the field and will be the sole reason we can win this game even if we do play poorly.
Some things have absolutely got to change though going forward.
- frick this stupid arse Ace/I-Formation offense running 70%+ of the time and lets go with a shotgun offense. Harris is CLEARLY much more comfortable going out from shotgun and it gives the RBs more space to run...get over yourself Miles, let Cam Cameron call the offense and do what's best with our most talented QB. DO NOT create another god damn 3-4 year QB Controversy
- STOP PLAYING GUYS WHO CLEARLY ARE WORSE THAN OTHERS EQUAL OR MORE AMOUNT OF SNAPS; it's pretty simple, the best players should play and play the most; stop fricking rotating one of the most important positions on D
- Egos, check them in before you step onto the field from now on and pick them back up after you leave...we are now out of the Top 25 for the first time in 6 years so clearly whatever you THINK you are doing during game time isn't working, so stop trying to prove a point
Great ideas.
Miles is not listening...the beatings will continue...

I am okay as long as the following happen:
1. Make a bowl
2. Always compete hard
3. QB development (Specifically I prefer Harris)
4. Develop D-line (bc it doesn't mater how good skill position is if we get dominated LOS)
5. I want to see OL deliver at the level we expected or I have to wonder what is going on there

Without a doubt, I'm going to go out on a limb and say I know just a tad more about football talent than you. Not a pissing contest, but I've been there....apparently you, and the other thousand idiots on this board haven't. LSU is young....there really are a few plays each game that have made a huge difference
You were no doubt intentionally ambiguous with this statement, but let's play anyway.
I don't know how many you mean by a few, but I think most people would generally accept that 4-5 would qualify as a few.
So please tell us grand master, which 4-5 plays from yesterday turn a 34 point loss into a win?

Oh
My
God
Surely you're on the crack pipe. We've been thoroughly dominated. Looked like a third tier team. We're not "a few plays away". We're far, far away.

I never give up on LSU, but I've conceded this season to possibly getting pleasure out of the Tigers turning the huge upset. The team is just too young this year to overcome mistakes and bad coaching. Next year, I'm expecting more.

Welp, might as well get over that

What does it say when your coach has your qb handing off to the RB down 30+ points?
Last night was the 2nd time I've seen a les miles coached team give up

I've read this site for a while, and your name stands out as a constant negative. Those two teams LSU played were good teams....really good offenses. No one else LSU plays will have as good of an offense as either. I wish they would ban you bastards that jump on/off the wagon....keep the site for intelligent, non-kneejerk fans.
I am going to go out on a limb and say I have forgotten more about football and talent than you have knowledge. If you can't see the commonality in the lack of QB play and having a guy ready to go then you don't know sheep shite. Every team in the country goes through lulls with young talent and that is to be expected with the attrition rate of players going pro but it becomes an issue when it happens every year. In Miles tenure he has only had three seasons that featured QBs that actually looked like college level QBs.
His game plans are getting atrocious given the fact he s playing young inexperienced players and not putting some kind of game plan that addresses exactly those issues.

Why not come out spreading the ball out and playing with a sense of prepared urgency?
Miles has the Qb's in the wrong system playing scared
2008 fricked him up bad

amen. some of the people on here have no clue what adversity is nor how to deal with it. their reaction is to get angry and demand immediate change. change the qb, change the mlb, change the coaches, etc and do it now.
they clearly don't understand what developing a player is. esp the qb. unfortunately, playing in the sec west may mean playing a guy that isn't quite ready. you think he's ready but.......I think Brandon Harris will rebound from last night; if he's a man and not a sniveling spoiled brat like some of the "fans" on here.
great post sir. sounds like you may have played the game and faced a little adversity yourself.

Give me an example, with the exception of Mettenburger, of a QB that actually developed

Still think we beat undefeated OM in a classic TS match when BH goes off; they come in with attitude that no way can lose to lowly us as we did for Moo St. Then Gumps and ATM beat us but we pull out UF, UK and Ark and play Okie St Outback Bowl!
