I understand I am assuming he has this figured out

I honestly haven't no doubt Kiffin has a plan for QB, I honestly think he can get the most out of any QB, he's not gonna waste any time with CBB here

I’m happy next year to see a competent football team no matter the record.

I posted earlier that if we scored 25 points in every game this year, we would’ve been 10-2. 25 points ain’t shite for Kiffin.

If we can get Baker some more pass rushers on the edge, watch out. The defense next year has potential to be special again, Spears & Cooley are a good safety tandem and Pickett/Woodland would contend for a top 10 corner pairing in CFB next year. I’m high on both of those guys.

Here is what we aren't used to. We actually have a coach that is savvy and plans ahead. And works his azz off. I think he gets the OL straight and QB

I know that's optimistic but damn he's doing a helluva a job in the first week. And we all know some players will follow

but we had a hell of a defensive haul on recruiting.

That’s not gonna be much a factor regarding our ‘26 playoff chances. They’ll hopefully provide some depth, but you can’t count on them to be starters or even in the 2 deep as true freshmen. And we’ll have to hit the portal before spring practice, so they won’t be able to be evaluated against other college players.

I think you just pretend they don’t exist when building the ‘26 roster. Anything they give us will just be lagniappe.

I’m not going to lie. I think you’re pulling this out of thin air.

Who will be on the roster? What will the staff be?

We didn't have a QB this year and we was still close.

The way things have been rolling, it sure feels like we're headed in that direction. I haven't seen this kind of momentum building up into the off-season in a very long time.

Yall realize Leavitt has an injury that doesn’t put him back in the field until October at best?

No, they just regurgitate shite that someone else here said like a dumb echo chamber.

Leavitt probably doesn't play until November and likely is never the same again.

A little early. Let's see if Kiffin can get us to an SEC championship game, something he's never done at OM, Tennessee and USC!

We did that we had arguably the best portal class in the nation. 15 or 16
Defensive guys were great
We got 2 All Conference OL
The Center was good but after injury wasn’t the same, plus too much pressure on him to come back early because there was no one else capable.
The Guard he was OK? but in the SEC he was average.
We’ve got Sol Thomas back(out year)
5* OL
Weston 5* didn’t live up to hype yet?!
Echols will be a beast but young & raw
DJ I know but he’s young and seasoned
Ory is a Giant, good God can someone help him turn on the light at 6’8” 347lb
Dude from North Carolina was a Top 10 OT, freshman Callaway??
Paul M learned on the fly got abused but still potential
New Offense, New Coaches, New Life, Lane tried to get all these guys at Ole Miss but couldn’t because he wasn’t at LSU(reason he’s here)
He knows what he’s doing, what he wants, and how to coach them up. He’s not typing on a keyboard saying these guys ain’t worth a fk, he’s thinking and betting he can fix them or they won’t be here.

Have you seen the schedule; particularly SEC road games?

Way too early to make that statement. So many fans are delusional, many thought Kelly was going to playoffs this year and maybe even win a Naty.

He would’ve been a HELL of a Coach if he could get USC into the SEC Championship Game, not sure ANY HC could have pulled that off Chief!!

I've read he'll be ready for action in May 2026.
