Why in the heck is S. Sanchez batting behind Sunseri??? Our weakest hitter by far, batting behind one of our best hitters?

This has to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

It's good to see Shlattman knocking the hide off the ball. What a turn around for her. I get that Sanchez is a Senior and all, and BT has been infatuated with her, but at least bat her behind Schlatt and Serrett.. She's killing the lineup.

You just named 3 softball players. I think that qualifies you as a softball expert.

So they've run ruled everyone prior to today in a game they're winning vs another ranked opponent and you want to question the lineup?

Is that what's happening here?

So do we know who the best and worst hitters on the team are 7 games in? I mean if You are strictly going off current batting average then 7 games is not a big enough sample size.

Umm.. I think if you paid close attention to last year, and the games so far, you'd understand my point. It was perplexing last year, and even more so this year (so far).

Sunseri, Sanchez, and Serette are pretty damn good at hitting.

I'll give you this, and almost made this point in my post. It is early. However, many of our hitters don't look as lost as they did last year. Again, early, I know.

According to Batting Averages from the last 2 seasons, Sanchez and Serette are not very good at the plate.

Maybe they will make a huge jump this year but historically speaking, they have not been very good hitting the ball.

Both are great in the field though.

I think he is talking about the transfer Amanda Sanchez... who definitely looks the part so far and is hitting well.

Howard is tinkering with the lineup as they go. Be patient.

Valid question and I'm going to go with "it's still early in the season and we're talking about 15 or fewer at bats so far"...

I watched every game this year.
That comment was from the games I watched, not last years stats.
I didn’t watch many games last year.

Sorry Amanda Sanchez is batting after Doyle. Shemiah is batting after sunseri.

Based off the 6 games (prior to today's) Shemiah was batting .300 with an ob% of .500 so not horrible for the 6 spot. I do think Schlattman has been noticably better though and should be 6th behind Sunseri.

Schlattman should be hitting behind Sunseri I agree

Shemiah tends to be streaky and has never been a consistent hitter, look at career numbers.

Not an expert either, but with ~ 75 to 4 runs, looks like "if it's not broke - don't fix it!"
