Hmmm....in the last four years....

Governor forced to resign but his multitude of criminal activity swept under rug.

Speaker of the House convicted of a dozen or so ethics violations.

A state rep admitted to taking bribes from From coal company and it's lawyer, who were later convicted.

The State Personnel director committed perjury in order to steal more than $500 million dollars from
State employees....while the judge and the Montgomery county da (where the judges son works) looked the other way.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was kicked off the bench for the second time.

The current governor (at least nominally) said that she believed women who were making claims against a senate candidate.....yet still endorsed the candidate

One state rep pled guilty to wire fraud

Two others are under indictment for taking bribes from a medical company

All this. Look at the Roy Moore BS

Its not a "conspiracy" or a "machine" its just fans of a particular school in control of certain aspects of the SEC and letting their biases affect their decisions whether consciosly or subconsciously. Some of them may even think they are being fair

So this just started when Saban went to bama, this hog wash and does not give bama no advantage over anyone.

I'm definitely convinced Alabama has been getting away with recruiting violations for years. The SEC simply ignored the well-documented Yahoo Sports investigation into Alabama recruiting earlier this decade. It's a certainty that D.J. Fluker got cash payments under the table, yet the SEC did nothing.

I became convinced of this when Tua signed with them. You have a true freshman QB take you to the title game. Then you sign the top QB in the country the next year.. said QB is from Hawaii, and yet he signs to play in Tuscafreakinloosa for a defensive minded head coach. He didn't sign with USC. Not Stanford either. He left Hawaii to go play in Alabama to compete with a freshman who just took them to the title game.

Think about it all and let it sink in.

My dad was a bagman for another SEC school. Bama had at least 3 or more bagman than everyone else and that was in 80s. Some of them are still active

I agree, Bama is better than the rest right now.

But if you don't see some of the shady shite that's gone on concerning Bama and their football program the past 10 years or so, you're turning a blind eye to it.

Ive reconsidered your argument and you are right the machine plays A large Part but it is also fans of the team running the SEC that have tipped the power structure in bamas favor. If left to its natural course Orgeron and LSU would overtake Bama but they are not going to let that happen so easily and will do everything and anything to prevent it.

Of course. We all know that. The problem here is that now, everybody’s seeing it. It’s blatantly obvious.

We’ve gotten to the point where when you see a play like White’s these days, LSU fans just sit there and shake their heads. It’s been done so many times. It’s old to see, sucks for the team, and adds to the frustration of spectators thinking they’re watching a competitive sport, but later realize it’s all just part of a business model.

How unbelievably livid would you have been if that same play happened vs. bama? Instead of being up 10 or whatever, imagine that play happens with under 60 seconds left on the clock, LSU up by 2, and they end up in field goal range. We know bama has some terrible kickers, but he gets lucky. LSU gets beat by 1.

So, there ya go. One terrible flag, one criminal review to confirm it.

We’ve seen it done enough. Freakin miserable product football has become....
