he is about as cocky as they come, and I mean that in the absolute best way possible.

I took my son to fan day yesterday ad I noticed that he had a really loose, calm demeanor. He was constantly joking around with everyone. He looked like he could walk into a huddle to start a drive down by 3 with 2 minutes to play and crack a joke.

He will one day come to learn that Les Miles is his true father and that les implanted his sperm in zachs mother many years ago

What, what?

Air vs. Heir
Air: atmosphere
Heir: one who inherits

ETA: For example: Heir to the throne, not air to the throne.

All you have to do is think back a year when ESPN had Jordan Jefferson on, and they played "name that Jefferson". You will get extremely grateful for Mett.

He's gotta get rid of the Justin Beiber haircut though.

So he may not be the BEST speaker out there, at least he isn't making rash claims or displaying a cocky attitude toward the media.

Don't you know LSU fans demand good speakers out of their football program?

Yeah, but he is far from terrible. He says what he's supposed to say. I could care less, honestly, as long as he is articulate.

There aren't many out there who don't utter "um," "uh," or "you know," when they are beginning to get acclimated to being in the spotlight.

You serious, Clark?

It's 'heir' unless you're referring to the amount of space between ball and receiver, during a 50 yard downfield throw.

No. In this context it's "air" of confidence. You do not want to argue with me on this issue. Promise.

You're absolutely correct. Mett didn't inherit anything, so it's not heir. It is an "air" of confidence because it refers to the atmosphere projected by his presence and words.

W, your performance in this thread is embarrassing on an epic level. I'd suggest just getting a new screen name. I don't believe you can recover.

He showed some iniative in the OM rout last year. Seems like realizing he is 'the guy' has helped rather than make him shrink. Very excited about seeing the scheme they allow him to play in (3rd and 5 means shotgun, not option).

Ummm...Ummmm....Ummmm...Ummm

We are going to be good...Ummmm...

I guess it makes no difference how he speaks tho, just fling the ball around and make sure it goes to a player in an LSU jersey.
If he does this...we will be very good!

he's definitely the cockiest LSU QB that hasn't taken a snap yet.

But, I think this program needs that right now.

As a starter, I'm assuming you meant.

Utmost confidence is what was lacking in the 2 past QBs. Neither had the swagger that all great ones must have...
