Defense? Y’all ain’t gonna score many points…don’t worry, we might not either. We got high NFL draft picks at all 3 levels on D. And instead of an egghead x and o nerd running the D with err’body confused, we got Tom Allen outta PSU, he’s like Brent Venables but angrier. I expect a less janky scheme will work well with our athletes on D.

Well, your stats from the secondary don’t jump off the page, and you didn’t just have an influx of portal and recruiting talent there like we did. I’m not sure I buy what you’re selling there. I don’t think you match up well at all with our WRs and TEs.

As for up front, you guys definitely have talent and upside, but were inconsistent last season and pretty up and down vs the run. Maybe you make a big leap, but it’s easy to assume that will happen. As we saw with our highly-touted OL last year, sometimes it doesn’t come together. They weren’t bad, but they definitely didn’t live up to the hype. That is always a possible outcome when a unit is hyped in preseason. So we’ll see. But this is were the LSU Offense vs Clemson Defense battle will be determined.

Only team that is getting sucked off harder in the media is Texas. I'm ready to watch us beat the ever loving dog shite out of them 2 more weeks then it's GEAUX time.

Hopefully the media runs WILD with this. I would love for Dabo to struggle selling his usual “woe is little Clemson” stichck, hopefully to his own players. Our OL definitely ate too much of their own hype before last year’s opener and it came back to bite them.

The best position for LSU is to come in the unheralded underdog who no one expects to win. It may not have any impact on the game, but I’ll take whatever motivation it can provide our players along with a rat poison buffet for Clemson’s.

Yeah they’re a hard team to read

I dont think they were that good last year at all, but teams get better.

still with all that talent they gave up 33 to Louisville, 38 to texas, 31 to SMU, 32 to Virginia, 34 to UGA

they gave up more yards per game than us and .9 points less per game while playing in the ACC.

0-3 vs SEc teams but those were all three good teams.
