O's accomplishments are always intangible. Seems to be doing the right things. Great vibe, etc. I sure hope that he accomplishes something substantive.

I don't get the whole nega-tiger mindset. I'm not going to say I dislike O, but I'm not sold for a second that he was a good hire and unfortunately I'm hesitant to think the program will ever meet the expected standards under him. With all that said, I'm not going to root against him just so his fait is decided sooner. I'm hoping for the best, and I hope he succeeds.

I believe we've had 3 guys at the most actually say they're going to root against him. I've certainly never said anything to suggest that I'm going to do that.

Maybe it's because too many of you are simply not listening? Almost No ONE has said or even suggested that they are rooting against him or wanting him to fail. It's a lie, and an especially dishonest one used to attempt to discredit anyone critical of the job he's done thus far.
We're all LSU fans. No one WANTS LSU to fail. the fact that many of us believe that it's inevitable due to what we see as his inherent weaknesses DOES NOT mean we are hoping for it to happen, because that would be counterproductive to LSU winning.
Having said that...is this the first time you've read this here? If so, then I hope you take it to heart and not repeat it or point out an exact poster who says this and we can all take them to task. If you have seen it, why is it you refuse to accept it at face value?

So it's not that you haven't read what I wrote, but that you don't believe them? I don't want to put words in your mouth, but I asked you a direct question and you seemed to sidestep it.
I just answered that worry of yours, and I'm as big an anti-Orgeron poster as exists on this site...and I'm here a lot. And despite posters telling me what I think, I've never once even hinted that I want LSU to lose so that Orgeron can be seen as a failure. In fact, I've stated the exact opposite time and time again. Only to be ignored and again told what I must think. Why is that? At this point it can't be that this point has not been heard, only that it's either not believed or it's ignored in favor of the straw man.

By definition it suggests the person is against the Tigers if they are critical of the head coach. That's a lie and it's not an accident.

Sorry, I knew that you weren't directing that at me. But, i just wanted to state one more time that I'm not pulling against my team. As TM said, I've been told time and time again that I'm a hater and that even when I praise Coach O that I'm lying. I really don't get it. People have begged and begged for him to just get s chance. The "hate" for Orgeron took a seismic shift towards cautious optimism with the Burrow signing. Even some of the most skeptical of people are now expecting a good year.
