but why would he burn his redshirt with a team as depleted as they are now with Brennan coming back next year? I could see him wanting to ball out and not worrying about his redshirt with the starting QB role wide open but with Brennan coming back it would make since to keep his redshirt.

Any talk of burning a RS for the Texas Bowl is ludicrous and merely fan chatter, and was never an option. His only chance to play was if the NCAA approved the waiver, no sane person/program would burn a redshirt for the Texas Bowl vs KState.

I also noticed that video. I don’t think they have any highlights in that of guys who aren’t playing tonight in it. That could just be a coincidence though
