Both of the kids committed to LSU, support them both. The best man wins.

I agree but the best man should have already won. To have this competition now means each guy is only getting half the practice snaps that they both desperately need. There should have already been a pecking order established prior to the season starting and the number 2 guy should be getting all the reps in practice.

I think it is awesome that Coach O is letting them get their reps when he knows this season is a wash.

Let those kids get in there and get a lot of reps against a lot of good teams should prepare them nicely for next year

What is his alternative if Brennan is out?

It doesn't make any difference.
The one who comes in second will always be the better of the two.

there is no competition. everybody on the team knows. you're assuming they're splitting reps.

I saw 9 seconds of TJ throwing the ball on the news and he’s clearly the better QB and leader.

For all we know the number 1 guy is getting all the reps we would never really know

Pretty sure everyone is on board with playing the guy who gives us a better chance to win. Kinda hard to have a favorite when we haven't seen either play.

This seems to be the same argument concerning Emery. We're beating this old horse to death.

A freshman weekend with Bama will be a real coming out party. After that night, they can face anything coming their way.

Silver lining to all of this is this season really sets us up with our qbs in the near future in an awesome way. Finley and Johnson will get some meaningful experience behind all of this. You can't get more experience than what they're about to face on the schedule.
