You may get be your wish. CBS is “only” paying the SEC $55 million a year, which many believe is far below market value. I read an article earlier this year where some are expecting the SEC to put their TV deal out on the market and they expect every major network to bid on it. The cost will likely double or even triple. Current deal expires in 2023.

I Am hoping we played two 11 am games with the understanding that we will have both Florida and Auburn as primetime night games in Tiger Stadium

I doubt it happens.....they'll renegotiate the deal with CBS....I'm sure the SEC game is one of if not the highest rated thing on that network every week.
ETA You can bet your arse that even if they do leave CBS wherever they land will have that game in the early afternoon because they aren't going to have that big game competing with the big ESPN/ABC game that is in primetime. Now what I could see happen is during the renegotiations is that the historical 2:30 CBS game may move to the night slot and the ESPN primetime game will move to an afternoon kick....it all depends on where it lands for a network standpoint.

What time on Mondays is this usually announced?

we do?
I dont know about we but LSU does.
It was posted last season when everyone was whining about night games being better for wins. Lsu had a better record against top opponents at the 230 slot.

is Alabama / TAMU really a bigger draw than an undefeated LSU vs a one-loss (and likely top-15) Florida?
Do you really want the answer to this question??
