He didn’t say no at all. He hasn’t even signed what’s on the table from Tennessee. He’s prepared to listen.

People will laugh at OP but if it was a coach not in Omaha this deal most likely would’ve been done and announced already. Maineri has been thinking about retiring for months and the job has been open for weeks.

I hope your right but, what coach in his right mind would allow assistant coaches to remain and not pick his own people? Since his job would be on the line. I know I wouldnt

What experience does he lack? He’s got equal CWS experience as Bianco and more than Godwin.

He’s just finishing his 3rd full season as a head coach.

Absolutely pales in comparison to Godwin and McDonnell and less safe than Bianco
