I don’t have a problem with coach O personally but next year if we don’t win 10-11 regular season games he needs to be fired. We have enough talent to beat Florida, and we should have beaten Texas A&M regardless of what the refs had going on in their favor. We also should at least be competitive against Alabama, even Auburn gave them a game for a half. Personally I see a team with a ton of potential in the hands of a guy who doesn’t know what to do with it. If he retains Ensminger and our offensive production sucks next year again we need to sign the check for his buyout. The excuses need to stop. We fired a coach who made us competitive in EVERY game to hire a coach who forces us to lower our expectations. When we fired Les it should’ve been for a championship coach not some 9-3 guy who consistently has excuses as to why we come up short.

I supported the departure of Les Miles because the offense was Stale! After watching Joe Borrow carry it more than all 4 Running backs combined on this RPO (HORRIBLE) offense over and over and then sparks of creativity.

How can you support O (Offense) if you supported the departure of Miles?

We were in competitive games - even with teams when we shouldn’t have been. It’s part of what drove us crazy.

When I say that I mean that we never went into a game or even a season thinking that we were going to lose. Regardless of the outcome we all believed we had a shot. Correct me if I’m wrong

Well, Miles has a winning percentage at LSU of .770, so perhaps you're just not a very smart person. That's OK, it takes all kinds, but you may want to be a little more circumspect in being so willing to admit publicly that you're not smart.

Vegas thought we would win only 7 or less. All the fans before the season started said that it would be quite an accomplishment for this team to win 9 games. LSU WON 9 games. What gives?

The only losses Miles wasn't competitive in were the 2013 and 2015 losses at Alabama and the 2014 loss at Auburn. That's it.

Well this is just not true. Winning 9 games at LSU isn't a noteworthy accomplishment. I thought we would win 8 games and we won 9. Does that mean I'm supposed to be happy with 9-3 and that we overachieved or something?

WE have a lot of talent at the skill positions currently, but we face a deficit of talent in the beef area and a lot of the 4* talent that we were supposed to have on the O line primarily are "lacking"

Unless LSU is willing to beef up the recruiting budget to go to places like Alabama does we'll have problems with them and to a lesser extent Florida. There is an art to finding really good O linemen and coaching them......we need at least 2-3 5* O linemen and 2-3 very solid 4* D linemen

They kept running with Burrow because it worked. He had three rushing touchdowns and over 100 yard. They were keying on the running backs so Burrow would pull it and was getting good yards against a great rushing defense. Also especially early he was getting good yardage on scramble plays. The offense has been bad most of the year but I thought Saturday especially in the second half and overtime they did a decent job for the most part.

Like Orgeron says “we need to find the best talent” well we need to find a coach who can find the best talent. He’s the one whose recruiting and it’s obviously not been working well in the trenches. Our offensive scheme doesn’t cover up the deficiencies either.

Nah, we got blown out against Ole Miss and Arkansas in 2015 too.

ETA: And Arkansas 2014, and obviously 2011 Alabama.

Because of coaching. Not talent.

Everyone knows we have talent.

I liked Les but agreed he had to go. If we wanted to move out of 2nd/3rd place in the SEC West a change for the better was needed.

I confess I never liked the O hire. I thought hiring a DL coach with a 10-25 record as a HC was not moving forward.

Are we better off with coach zero? Not yet... he is a good recruiter. Les was a good recruiter too. I don't see that we are better off than we were in 2014, 2015. Even the Zero sunshine pumpers have to admit that.

No contract extensions for Zero. He gets one more year to prove what he told us in his binders.
