The point everyone is making is that this was the SECOND QUARTER! We knew this would be a tough matchup. Venables was going to throw as much at us as he could... and he did. It took time to adjust. But some of you jumped ship in the 2nd quarter instead of simply waiting for things to unfold. That's weak-minded.

I had to get up and leave the living room after the first quarter. My dumbass husband with all his bitching about how we were going to lose, how penalties were killing us, etc. blah, blah, blah.

No surprise that most posters on the Rant are a bunch of cry baby bitches.
ETA: It was pretty obvious that our defense was gassed on that drive due to our offense not clicking and sustaining drives. The D was doing ALL they could to keep us in the game at that point.
