What does not knowing a quote from My Cousin Vinny have to do with baseball? Or did you just comment without reading the thread because you have some personal beef with me?

47 Ks. 212 plate appearances.

His K rate was 22.2%

Jared Jones was 85/326 for a 26.1% K rate.

You and I have both posted the correct numbers...your % may have been a LITTLE off but Jones still led the team in K per plate appearances and Frey was second. Your % are now right but you were essentially in the right area before your correction. On the links I provided, there was a column stat specifically for BB% and K %. Frey has a better BA, better BB%, and better K% than Jones. And Jones barely edges him out in HR per plate appearance. Jones hits HR 6.7% of the time...Frey 6.2% of the time.

Laviolette was in the 30s strike out percentage wise last two years and didn’t even hit for average this year and went in the 20s. Jones can be a solid pro and his defense at first is elite. Every hitter in this draft is going to have to correct something to get to the next level.

Vandy and Tennessee lost more commits than we did. Every SEC school lost their highly rated SS commits. Apparently SS is a huge need in this years draft

Heard a pretty interesting stat today. Kade Anderson was only the 4th LSU pitcher taken in the first round. Tenn had 2 taken this year.

This is very easily proven false. LSU has had 4 since 2012.

Pitchers who could hit the low and away zone did him in. Especially with sliders. He kept his stance, his load and never adjusted. I think he’ll figure it out. He’ll have to.

As I said a few weeks ago, there are some classic "tries" to help him. 1) if he can, move up in the batter's box so that the last movement of the slider doesn't hurt him 2) move towards the plate in the box if he can to get closer to that outside corner pitch 3) for God's sake, level out your swing so the bat is in the path of the ball of a longer time. Once again, Jones and Gallo hit the same rainmaker type of HRs because they have extreme uppercut swings.

Starts with that big bend back stretch. Because he doesn’t fully readjust with his load, it takes those zones away from him. Rather than moving up and back in the box (which will be dependent on the respective pitcher), he can spend some time in MLB Instructional League and work some of that long-term muscle memory out of his swing. Start fresh…

You’re right. I looked it up. It was 5 before this year.

And you still got it wrong.

It was 8 before this year. 9 if you include the 1st round supplemental.

wow, you aren't very original are you, a-hole! I used the mother's basement phrase earlier. Next time you think of posting...try to do the smart thing and DO NOT HIT SUBMIT! As far as "losing", I wasn't the moron who kept posting the same message over and over. Learn to read, retard! I will give you credit for two things. 1) "I am impervious to logic" is in your profile...can't argue with that and 2) you actually admit being a ULM fan...God, I didn't think anyone was STUPID enough to admit to that LOSING university.
