get a ticket to the Lady Tigers' NCAA playoff game on Tuesday night. It was simply wonderful to see the students show up to support the women. You may think that women's sports is a waste of your time...certainly, there's plenty of you on this Board...but if you love LSU, then you should support ALL of our university's student-athletes...the Lady Tigers need our support. The crowd can truly make a difference with this young team. These ladies have worked extremely hard doing the same things that the male athletes do...running before the sun's up; lifting weights; balancing the life of student and the demands of the athlete...they deserve our support. Tickets are as low as $8 for general admission. For the naysayers, Please don't respond to this post with some stupid dismissive comment on women's sports...the men are out of the Tourney...the women are still in, let's support 'em!

And I'll be doing just that. At Alex Box Stadium, watching the baseball team play Harvard.

But seriously...props to these young ladies. I hope they go far in the tourney.

Tell it to the LSU students who are always looking for hand outs... because if they don't get it they don't come...

And what exactly is wrong with this?? I know many students that can't afford the extra cash to go to a sporting event.

Sorry I'll be at the baseball game - too much estrogen in the PMAC for my liking

no, that's the problem. the women who actually go to the games have more testosterone than estrogen

I dont think thats true at all. Even so, I dont see anything wrong with it. You must have been a student once many many years ago. Search your dusty heart for the memories of your poverty. Unless you were one of those rich bastards then ....anyway, I like the womans basketball team. They should dunk more though.

The student tickets are free, but you had to already sign up. I forgot.

Looks like it's baseball for me Tuesday night. Even though I was going already.

I will surely be doing that by either going to the baseball game and checking the score on my phone or watching the baseball game on TV whilst checking the score on my phone.....with the advent of cell phones with great internet capabilities that means I can support and cheer for LSU no matter what I do which is usually how I choose to do it for sports that really don't interest me to watch....but I will cheer my heart out for these girls in my way like always

Students get in free and earn points for going.

I can't make it this year, but I was there last year and it was a really good time. It's not an estrogen fest btw. We went and there were a lot of cool sports fans who keep up with all types of sports and there are people from out of town since there will be two games played.

I went to the Tenn. game...if the people that sat in the lowers for the Tenn. game sat in the lowers for The mens game...the atmosphere would be much better.
It surprised me how the ones who showed up how much they yelled and got into it.

Actually it is against NCAA rules to let students in for free to an NCAA tourney event. From what I understand Les, Trent, and Paul all donated the money to buy the student tickets so that they could get in for free.
