Cancer sucks. Lost my grandfather to it about 3 years ago. And today found out another cousin has it in lungs and bladder. I can only imagine Jamie’s pain though. Prayers for that family.

Cancer took my dad in six months. My uncle died nine months after being diagnosed with lung cancer. Life isn’t a given. Prayers for the Howard family.

That’s a really tough break. I met my wife when I was 16. I’m 56 now. Next August will be 40 years together for us. She’s a sweet girl. We have 4 kids, the youngest of which is 26. None of us has had to deal with anything like this.
When I hear a story like this I feel sad, but I also feel very lucky. Thank God I’ve never lost a child or my wife. I can handle anything else.

He was at last Friday's STM game being honored at half-time. I know his wife's brother, really sad to hear.
