Agreed. The only thing LM was smart for doing was recruiting and hiring good assistant coaches. He was a guy who looked at himself as a witty, cunning type of person, when in reality he had no idea that he had no idea. Won a lot of games due to the aforementioned factors, but stubbornly underachieved. Had the best team in the country in ‘06, got lucky in ‘07, and absolutely refused to change in ‘11, choosing to go down with the ship instead. PLUS, he was a LEGIT half-tard. Trying to call a time-out following an interception against Tennessee in ‘05 and the “clock it” debacle against Ole Miss in ‘09 are just two examples.

Even giving jefferson the keys to that offense. Should have been lee starting always. Feel it out. It they get pressure early. Then sub in Jefferson. Later on lee comes in and gets that 3rd down you need. It wasn't rocket science
