All the folks saying Hodson -- I don't see how he brings any skill set that Mettenberger doesn't possess. Neither has any ability to move at all. And both have decent arms. I will grant that he was a very good field general quarterback, but he was also the beneficiary of one of the best OL and receiving corps LSU has ever had, comparatively speaking.
I think this is what we need the most right now . That's why I'd take tommy hodson.
An since we're making a wish list, josh reed or wendell Davis would be nice to have too.

(2) tommy hodson and josh reed. Or. Tommy hodson and wendell davis take your pick either combo would have a dozen touchdowns by now. Oh wait les would not have let them throw that much i guess it would be kevin faulk or dalton hilliard then.

Before injury Glenn Dorsey.
He with Sonic Sam and Mingo would allow us to get great pressure with just a 4 man front.

quote:Mettenberger's got a significantly stronger arm than Hodson had. But that's beside the point; Hodson saw the open man and hit them with catchable balls very consistently. That's what we need right now. He'd flat out KILL these defenses crowding the line.

would be waisted
I don't mind if he's waisted, but below the waste should draw a flag.

Shep = Skyler Green = Eddie Kennison = Todd Kinchen
Kennison doesn't fit in this list, size-wise; what about Trindon or Sammy Martin?
