This is that part where I remind everyone I called Bregs for 3rd in the majors while he was still here st LSU. Everyone was talking short or 2nd.

I was at the game and well, he upheld his part. A little less pop and he drives in another tun in his last at bat. He has a rediculous 1714 OPS etc. guy played defense out of his mind. That slow roller be barehanded and threw out Betts was a Top 5 play for me this season considering the runner and moment. Astros swung too early in counts.
2/3 with an rbi and a walk is a solid night for any player.

Sure. I watched the game. Bregman may motivate himself with his trash talking but he also has to realize the part it has in motivating the other team.
If he’s not selfish and is truly a team player I don’t think we will see any more of his needling of the opponents this postseason.
He’s still a very young player and has some lessons to learn.

Why do people get so attached to players that have left the program??? I will never understand this.. Is he a great player??? YES... But he doesn't play for LSU anymore...... I mean good luck to any player in their future after leaving LSU, BUT why get soooo involved????

I don't see it as being "attached." He was just pointing out how well Bregs was playing. And he was. He made several nice plays in the field.

IMO, no longer playing for LSU doesn't mean they're now detached from LSU. We all appreciate and celebrate what Tigers accomplish at the next level.

You obviously don’t have a clue about this team. I go to nearly every game and read just about every thing that is written about this team and will say to the man including his manager, they say he is the leader of this team and he backs it up with his play. This includes players like Reddick and McCann saying this. In fact, it was Reddick that said that the game has changed and the younger players like Bregman with their style of play and attitudes are why baseball is fun again.
The unwritten rules of baseball are not the same so either become a fan or stop watching only the playoff games.

Number one, once a Tiger always a Tiger.

Number two, he plays for the fricking Astros. Do you know how many fans we have around here?

You’re an idiot. I’ve been a fan of the Astros since frickin the 1960’s.
Everybody can learn more about playing baseball the right way. Even Bregman dummy. I guarantee you his teammates weren’t calling him a leader because of trash talking. If he is a good teammate and has learned anything he will let his play do the talking and not incite the opponents with trash talking.

Damn some of you require extra explanation
He belittled the Red Sox pitcher which motivated them to kick the Astros arse last night. So yes he did help them lose moron.

I watched, but couldn't believe the manager stayed with his Best relief pitcher. It was obvious to me the pitcher was having serious problems

doubtful. Many people from there are Yankee, Cubs or Braves fans. Don’t know a freaking thing about the Astros except when Randy johnson played part of a year.

Do you even know who Larry Dierker was a a player? Not likely.

Dude. I have his autograph. Next time you are in Baton Rouge come check it out if you don’t believe me.I’ve been following the Astros since the “Red Rooster” and “Toy Cannon” played for them.
Can you tell me who those players were without using Google?
Also tell me where they had spring training in 1970 and who their radio announcers were? You can’t do it without help. I can tell you.
You probably never even attended a game in the Astrodome
