Wade is not being questioned by the FBI. He may have to testify in a court hearing. The FBI does not participate in trials except as witnesses themselves.

I assume it's the Department of Justice that supply the prosecuting attorneys?

The defense team will be asking questions first.

The FBI & IRS are involved in the basketball subpoena issue but the OLOL issue involves the IRS, Secret Service and Postal Inspectors. If doesn't take a rocket scientist to say the agencies aren't talking to each other right now.

Yep. I'm assuming it's the U.S. attorney's office in Manhatten.

He's never been questioned by the FBI and they aren't asking to question him.

Anyone speaking with the FBI should tell the truth because it is a felony to lie to the FBI.

Do you lie? No chance in hell would I take that chance. Telling the truth just kills your career...Lying lands you in jail. What would you do? What do you think he does?

1. I don't believe he's been questioned or threatened to be questioned by the FBI.

2. Never lie. Especially to the FBI. If the truth is that you haven't done what you're accused of, then tell the truth. Otherwise, plead the 5th. In some instances, you may want to plead the 5th even if you are innocent.

I said the same thing in earlier posts and got blasted.

Innocent people, especially those whose multimillion dollar salary is in jeopardy, would be shouting from the rooftops that they're innocent. They'd be barging into their boss' office to tell them what happened and how they're innocent. They'd be calling the media and giving interviews to anybody to profess their innocence, keep their job, and coach their team.

Otherwise, you lawyer up and clam up.

The tape does NOT lie so anything Wade says should be the truth - assuming he has to testify. Wade is doing the right thing and waiting this thing out. Assuming Wade's position is I'm not talking until I have to then he's in a good situation. Since the LSU administration apparently has no back bone to fire him he'll be allowed to come back and coach for as long as he can - assuming that he doesn't get into another wire tap incident and there is no trial. I like Wade's position and his chances. We all know he either tried to do something shady or he was working w the FBI. At this point he needs to let this thing play out. If he talks before the trial and implicates himself then he won't be allowed to coach anyway. So..... let time take care of itself.
