In every single game, in the history of every single sport, you can say "If so and so did this they would have won/lost."

You show your complete stupidity with this thread, but I would expect nothing less from you.

If the team that lost had played better than the team that won, the game might have been different!!!

Just think of the japs would’ve bombed the beaches in Cameron, LA instead of Hawaii.

We’d have volcanos in Louisiana.

LSU's D had plenty to do with that...

The 3s they made at the end were unreal. Some looked like they were just throwing up a prayer.

If we shot FTs like we usually do, it wouldn't matter.

We won, sorry you can't handle that.

If if was a fifth, we'd all be drunk.

actually they missed a bunch in the closing stretch of the first half that were not particularly well guarded.

Right, which was likely intentional. Yale was something like 3-17 from three in the first half. Why not leave them open if they are going to keep shooting and missing them?

Had they shot better from three, we would have adjusted and taken those shots away.

But they didn’t. And we shot poorly on free throws.

That's what happens when you guard them. It's not like Yale missed a bunch of open looks, we contested just about everything.

Except they did miss quite a few open looks.

Really??!?

F-ING what if only on the negative?

I swear us LSU fans get a hard on thinking about how we could have lost a game vs how we actually won.

LSU shot like 2% better than Yale, and below their season average on FT's.

Exactly, if we shoot our season average on free throws and they shoot their season average on 3's pretty much cancels things out.

People who keep saying this don’t understand what they watched. LSU was able to dominate the rim area with 1 or 2 guys especially early and it forced Yale to shoot a ton of contested 3’s. They were not excited about attacking the rim after the way Williams and Co was turning them away. You could argue they were lucky to make as many 3’s as they did, some of those were lucky, super contested long 3’s. I would say the bigger break went Yale’s way with LSU missing more ft’s than usual.
