Do we stand a chance of getting peached again, due to something like the appeal of JF? or the re-emergence of Auburn?

I'll take Cotton over Peach and Capital One all day everyday.

Winning out puts us at 10-2.
Worst case bowl for us assumes Bama to Sugar and Auburn/Mizzou to Capitol One and Cotton... So Outback?

If we beat Bama, and then Bama beats Auburn, we will get a better bowl game than Auburn, because we beat them. At least I hope so!

Many of the posters so far clearly don't understand what worst case means.

Cap One is closer to a best case scenario than worst case.

Didn't work out last year when we had the same record as A&M..

i don't see how they'd stick a 10-2 lsu with wins over aTm and Bama in the chicken bowl

i either want cotton, sugar, fiesta, or rose IMO

Win out and in all likelyhood its the Sugar, but at the worst would be the Cap 1.

I'd rather play in the Cotton Bowl. The game in Orlando is early and in a suck arse locale

I honestly dont think that you can slot only one team from the sec into a bcs bowl, even when making worst case guesses.

Worst case to me is auburn winning out and taking sugar, while bama gets at large bcs. Then Missouri, Scar and LSU are all in the mix for cotton, cap one, outback. That puts lsu either in cotton or cap one.

Do you have any idea how this works?

This actually makes more sense now that I think about it. No way SEC doesn't get two BCS teams. I'll change my worst case opinion to Cotton if we win out because I don't think there is any way USC gets a cotton bid over us.

BCS bowl. If we win out we will be 10-2 likely top 5 and the second or highest ranked SEC team (depending on other games) and will have ended the season with two high profile wins with Bama and TAMU. If we win the SEC then obviously the sugar. If a 1 loss sec champ goes to bcs champ then the sugar will be dying to take us for ticket sales. If not then we will go to another BCS bowl.
