The good news for LSU is that we can be cautious and patient with Eaux in regard to an extension. He's gone on record stating this is his dream job. He will not leverage us for a raise and/or extension. He just wouldn't do it

I doubt Mr. Ed fires him. He is Milesesque in that way. It was a monumental mistake making him OC. But that is Mr. Ed.

Right. That was my point.
Extend him so you can tell recruits he's under contract for the foreseeable future. Recruits don't care about buyouts.

Dudes on here still bitching about Miles' 2012 extension. And that was after winning SECCG and going to NCG. So why does Orgeron need an extension already?

Please stop saying this. It’s stupid as hell. Our playoff hopes were gone when we lost 29-0. We didn’t even have to win all we had to do was stay within 14 points or so. Playoff teams don’t lose by 29 at home.
