I like of like the SEC how it is. Maybe allocate Arky to the Big 12.

And take South Florida.
With Baylor getting the boot out of the Big 12.

No matter which school would be cut, I wouldn't add Miami. With the Gumps, the SEC already has its quota of criminals.

Yes. Add Tulane, too. GPA's, man. Really, I would aim at getting two teams from every SEC state.
LSU/TU
UK/UL
FSU/UF
AU/UA
State/OM
Vandy/ Tennessee
UGa/GT

This would be nice if we go to an ultra conference... maybe even get Clemson/SC to get to an even 16 team league.

I like an earlier post that suggested making it more like the PAC-10. Drop all the good teams in the East and add USF, Memphis, GT etc so we could have an easy road each year, Like the Pac 10 and Big 10

Or better yet, give FL and UGA to either the PAC 10 or Big 10, cancel our CCG, and they will have 12 and can start one.

Screw Louisville. They are already failing their BCS audition in a crappy BCS conference. I love Memphis (since I live here and they never play LSU), but they are light years behind in money and facilities. It would take too long for them to catch up.

Memphis is not quite on par with Louisville in most sports.

Can't drop KY. You need them when basketball season rolls around.

I always thought they should have a Southern Ivy League with Vandy, SMU, Tulane, Baylor, Elon, Samford, The Citadel & TCU.

If we lost Vandy, I'd rather an East Coast opponent be added so it wouldn't be a competition in recruiting. Maybe Clemson or USF or someone like that.

florida st seems to be the most natural fit for the sec. big fan base, good at multiple sports, big state school, in the heart of sec territory so, similar culture. gtech would be a nice addition. they would be middle of the pack athletically and would bring academic credibility.

Being 2-0 was enough to be launched to #14 in the recent polls. Apart from that, they have an explosive offense and solid defense. No doubt they will have a year similar to the one USF had last year.

Drop USC and replace it with the other USC and see if they could win the SEC every year like they do in the PAC9.

I bet Pete Carroll would retire before the move.

No seriously drop S. Carolina and Add Texas That way I could make the road trip.

Uh, okay. Why would we get Clemson if this is football country? No need to bring in over-hyped under performers.

I don't think anyone can really seriously think that a team from TX should be in the SEC. Do folks really think that TX is part of the Southeast?
and the big 10 has 11 teams...

drop KY and s carolina and add flordia state and g-tech

LSU------------florida
UT--------------UGA
A&M------------florida st
