Wow, not at all... First, I am for making a change -- but it has to be done the right way.

My commentary is more forward looking, and that this team does not need all this noise, which to me is a distraction that can impact performance. Perhaps I'm giving this distraction more merit than it deserves. But I am firm in my belief of supporting the players on this team. And part of that support includes minimizing distraction.
The distraction associated with this is a much greater issue than Miles remaining our coach. When Miles' tenure comes to an end, we can be successful transitioning with thoughtful contingency and succession planning - a risk any business faces when replacing a key figure. Top of priority in that transition, of course, is finding the right hire (and maybe we did, but it did not happen for reasons already discussed).

Unfortunately, we have all been witnesses to poor succession planning and now we have this powerful distraction. I mean, this is text book what not to do.

The point of this post? Don't make the distraction worse. If you boo Miles, a Player, or the Leadership at our next home game, you're a part of the distraction. If you want real change, do it productively through other means.

How are a bunch of fans complaining a valid distraction? Because there is merit in how impactful your vocal support of the team can be. It's a social world. You know the team has felt this distraction for far too long. This doesn't begin or end on TD, but the Rant is a part of the social landscape. So let's be better here, on campus, in the media, in the stadium, etc.

Bottom line, I will be cheering like hell next season. We no doubt have special players that deserve our support, and that to me is more important than being a distraction for them.

If LSU and ATM are both ranked, it doesn't matter if it's Tuesday night in South Dakota. Folks will travel.

An argument for having it Thanksgiving day is it may be easier for many to make the trip. As for my family, we're not limited to where we fry our turkey, drink our beers, and later take the required Thanksgiving day nap. College Station will suffice.

Why do you think Louisiana hasn't had an elite white QB come out of high school in quite some time?

Because there are not many elite QB's nation wide?

Statistically speaking... should a state the size of Louisiana produce a disproportionately higher amount of QB's than other states? Having one in the super bowl this year seems pretty solid.

All I am saying is if he continues to do what he did in the 10th game he will not beat Arky!

Of course. Les will not approach a top 10 opponent the same way he did western kentucky... i mean seriously... it was western fricking kentucky. Les could have split snaps with Wing at QB. Ark will have it's own game plan that we can all be hyper critical of on Nov. 25th :geauxtigers:
Please, elaborate more on how Les Miles is an idiot. If possible, include how he's the coach of the #1 team in college football, won a BCS national championship, and is the first coach since 1958 to go 10-0 at LSU. Please, continue with your hypothesis.

Meyer’s eyes dilated like onyx marbles inside his spinning head when he realized he was the latest victim of the violently unforgivable Les Miles vortex…

No worries. It'd slipped pass me as well. CBS could reuse the whole "The winner of this game has produced the national champion the past 2 years" theme. However, the missing Tebow element will be a stretch for Vern... Referring to Brantley as Tebow's successor might carry him through all 4 quarters.

MY tv predictions from WVU on...

Agree. Who do you think gets CBS's annual night game?

Absolutely not. This may be the last year for LSU football.

Last year for the entire athletic department, in fact. Solely academic competition from here on out.

Night games???

Pretty easy...
1. Check the schedule in the above link.
2. For Games already picked up by a network, the time slot is official, barring some unforseen circumstance.
3. Games currently not picked up are tentatively scheduled for 7:00pm until the networks way in.

Next question is when will all the networks way in... Answer: give it time my friend.

:geauxtigers:
As far as gameplan is concerned - they have NO reason to pay attention to the rant... Believe it or not, Miles, and his coaching staff have already considered everything that has ever been said on the Rant... If they did not implement something that was said on the rant it's because they DISAGREE with what one of us may think... it's that simple...

The only "value" our coaching staff could gain from coming on here is to get a pulse for how fans feel who are willing to post their opinions online.

What has the guy done?

Watching him play last year against the Celtics in the first round he acted like a complete idiot. Granted it was his rookie season, I'm probably being overly hard on the kid.
So my spelling sucks pretty bad... Al Horford is still a douche.
Yea the guy thinks he's "above" talking trash, and lets his "game speak for itself"...
Labron James.... the guy thinks he's "above" talking trash, and lets his "game speak for itself"...

Seriously though, Kobe Bryant is the biggest douche in the league. And lest we forget, Al Hartford and Joakim Noah. Young Douches in training.

What happens to a lot of people is they get in over their heads tailgating... I'm all for starting the pre-game 2 days early, but if you can't make it through the game because you're in too much of a blackout to stand, you need to learn your limits.

Why does the celebration for many happen only before the game and can't pull it together for the VICTORY party? Party before AND after the game! :geauxtigers:

:rotflmao: so all SEC NC or SEC vs WISCONSIN?? Nice, seriously though.... FUSC.
What time would you recommend getting there? Not too familiar with UT game day traffic....
