Depends on how we beat Bama.
Context is important.

The only reason I agree with this is bc I don’t want LSU to pay Bama for any penalties.

That’s not the same comparison and you know it. You seem miserable. Let the kids and players enjoy the moment. Stop caring so much about things like this. Just cheer on the team. It’s just a game man.

Reasons not to storm the field…It costs the athletic dept $250,000 and will go up to $500,000 that we pay to the other team. At some point, there are penalties levied against the athletic dept by the SEC. Yes, it’s all drunk fun until someone gets trampled. Stay in the stands and chant STTDB instead.

I'm not a player or coach, so I don't have to stay focused. And the topic doesn't change whether we beat A&M or we don't. Even if we lose next week there will still be some dipshits that think giving Bama their third loss of season is worthy of storming the field. It's just pathetic. When is the last time Bama stormed the field after beating us or beating anyone for that matter?

There are certainly scenarios that warrant it. Beating Bama two years ago even was awesome and a pretty big upset. But beating a downtrodden Bama team that might be Texas Bowl bound ain't it.

Bama is still Bama, even if they have three (or four) losses. They traditionally have been, and will remain, our chief rival.

But-- we shouldn't, under any case, storm the field. That's akin to migrants storming and overwhelming the Border Patrol, IMO.

The ncaa should require home teams to create a lane for visiting players to exit the field. Outside of that, it’s on the players to get to lane. Any fan going into the lane will be arrested.
Outside of that let the kids have fun.

If we had been up on Ole Miss the whole game and ended up kneeling it out, do fans storm the field?

Hard to say. Back when we beat UGA by 20 we did. But they were ranked 2nd and we were a decided underdog.

FWIW, I was perfectly fine with that storming. It was awesome. I'm just saying we shouldn't storm the field for beating teams we should beat.

How is it not the same? Beating Vandy would be beating a ranked team that we are favored against. And it would be a team that beat Bama. Some could argue that storming the field for beating Vandy might actually make more sense than storming the field for beating a Bama team that is having a worse season than Vandy.

If and when we beat Bama I will be hammered and will do whatever the moment and a gallon of bourbon suggest I should do.

That will have to be good enough for you, your quarter-zip, and your delicate sensibilities.
