I think we'd have to shite the bed the last few games to get a new OC. Some of you might wish that for the create good, but I don't. I think we're fine there. With our defense, in our conference, a pro-style offense that can pound the ball but still pass enough to.keep defenses honest and pick up met first downs is ideal. I think we can do that with this group. I know it sucka for y'all there's no scapegoat for going 11-2 instead of undefeated but them's the breaks.

That said, if we do shite the bed and Saturday remains the anomoly instead of the evolution, then I think we absolutely need to explore a new OC. And in that case, you'd be right. Ensmingwr would be the likely one to go. Unless krag's health gets worse.

That's one of the 2 big questions I have at this point.
1. Is the step up going to be consistent?
2. LSU as the visiting team has been mediocre/horrid (UF/AU). Who shows up in Fayetteville?

Ensminger says Rivers is the better QB and was pissed at Les about him continuing to play Mett prior to Saturday. He's the one that will be gone if anyone is.

Les was kind of rt. Execution has been the biggest problem. I mean did you see the diff n the 1st to 2nd half? Ill give you a big hint, the wrs finally stoppwd dropping passes in the 2nd.

Ensminger

He should go. No reason to have a dedicated TE coach when Miles all but ignores them in his offense. Let Henry coach the TEs along with the receivers, and send Ensminger packing. One less BBQ buddy would be a good thing.

Ding ding ding. Nailed it. The problem has been lack of execution all around on the offense including everyone, the OL, the WRs, and the QB.

Example of Rantards being Rantards and pulling shite from their asses. So you think that all a tight end does in an offense is catch passes?

And what makes the rest of you think there will be any coaching changes on either side of the ball after the season?

I know what a TE does.

We all know that if Miles has his way, Stud will stay OC. I don't think it's unreasonable to think there might be other changes made if we go back to stinking it up on offense. Especially if we drop one or more of our last 3 games.

Doesn't this then beg the question: "why did it take nine weeks into the season for the O to begin executing?" There are still latent problems on the O side.

We lost one game largely because of poor O play and even though we performed better last week 17 pts ain't nothing to dote about. We still stalled four drives in "points territory."

BTW, this had nothing to do with my question in the OP. I was simply trying to clarify the rules of coaches allowed and how this might affect any coaching decisions.

i know most people on this board think coaches are 100% responsible for everything (well except success) but coaching a guy up isn't going to make him catch a ball.

for much of the season, mett and his wr's have taken turns throwing bad balls/dropping good balls.

the "latent" problems have come with the MASH unit of an O line. when there is no consistency on the O line, it can disrupt everything. and it has.

but by all means, let's just blame everything on miles, it's easier that way.

Really? It is sure more than anyone else has scored on Bama this year. They average 9.1 scoring defense per game (ranked #1 in the nation).

I don't know? Maybe because we are starting a first year player in the SEC and we have played some damn good defenses so far?

I guess we should score every single time we get the ball inside the opponent's 30

You can change coaches all you want but it will never change the way LSU plays offense.
