College basketball is dirty and has been for a long time. How do you think Dale Brown did what he did?How do you think Calipari does what he does with all of the one and dones he has pushed through both at Memphis and Kentucky.....you don't think Derrick Rose voluntarily found someone to take the ACT/SAT after not making a score on three tries?

CBB/ NCAA would do well to institute the MLB rule. If you don't sign coming out of HS then you wait three years. It would probably limit the involvement of sleaze like Dawkins, etc. in the sport

I guess I just believe in due process. Whether he is liked or disliked should not matter. But in that respect you are right.

This is how college basketball recruiting is done. It's been this way for the past thirty years and especially since the one and done rule came into effect. Choosing one particular school to hold accountable for doing what they all do will unravel the entire college basketball business. A good example is the non-interest in the fake classes scandal at North Carolina. If LSU is simply doing what everyone else is doing to compete for it's players, there is nothing wrong in doing so. Pretending that there are actually rules to obey would be stupidity if the actual real-world requires bending those rules to be competitive.

If LSU were to do as you say, my suggestion would be to never field a competitive basketball team ever again by bringing in midgets on scholarship to show what a joke it all has become. Hell, just don't even issue scholarships and use students whose names are pulled out of a hat before the season. If the powers that be are going to refuse to allow LSU a chance to compete with their favored blue bloods, make as big a mockery out of it as possible. Get beat 240-10 every game for a few seasons.
