And let’s raise the money to pay it.
A lot of people in and outside the LSU family are offended by the SEC double standard/ hypocrisy/ corruption.
The call on Sam was a message from Sankey and Boys in Birmingham.
I hope we support Kelly’s measured answer.

He wasn’t criticizing officials
He was criticizing targeting in general and difference in criteria for both calls

he said last weeks call checked the box as did the horse collar. That is criticizing the officials especially them lying to him during the game.
He also said last night that was not the definition of targeting because of it being a football play. The guy is going low to make a tackle against someone who has their head lowered. The irony of it all is what people have been yelling since the implementation of that rule. RBs should get called for targeting

Yes.. it felt like a crafted response when I listened to it...

Agreed. As I said it was a “measured response”

So, do you rely on the sense of fairness of that same SEC office to not punish Kelly/ LSU for commenting?
Are you new to SEC politics?

I know Kelly can afford any fines.
Id consider it an honor to contribute to fine payment.Someone needs to stand up to SEC corruption.

You should let Kelly pay his own fines because he can afford it. If you want to contribute do it on behalf of an athlete like the fund for Greg Brooks.

I'd have a charity budget in my salary because I'd call out Sankey every week if I was a coach lol.

I realize Kelly is taking the highroad and handling things properly behind the scenes. There is no way I could keep my mouth shut.
I would be sitting in Sankey’s office at 8 am tomorrow morning.

I’m sure with his proclaimed clairvoyance abilities he foresaw any sanctions.

He said EXACTLY what most LSU fans wanted him to say, that the Sam hit was a kid making a tackle but the Turner hit was a guy making a dirty play and trying to knock out the other team's quarterback.

If anything he's going to incur the wrath this week of Saban defending Turner as a "good kid" who would "never intentionally try to hurt anybody." #eyeroll

I'm happy Kelly had the balls to say it Saturday night.

frick the SEC! They should be fining refs for making shitty calls! That would also stop game tampering to an extent

All he did was talk about it. He is not going to get fined. That requires going off about it. Something he does not have the sack to do

He left his criticisms open ended and just ambiguous enough to get the truth across. The SEC understands exactly what Kelly inferred, and will be taking retribution on us in the ATM game. They cannot let this defiance go unpunished.

I haven't spent a dime on LSU football in close to ten years now due to the SEC's blatant cheating. I won't start now for a billboard. These corrupt idiots are wealthy enough.
