I'll never understand this. If he's so inadequate he'll be gone after this yr. Knocking the guy only hurts the program IMO and encourages others to do so. The booing at games this year will not help things.

I believe in the age of social media the majority of our fan base sees themselves as individual sports journalists (

If you can no longer get excited about LSU Football and look at it as fun- and only focus on the negative of EVERYTHING- you'd probably be better off taking up botany.

Why are you too stupid to realize that thinking the program is on the way down doesn't equate to not cheering for the team? I always have and will defend and cheer for the players regardless of what I think of their coach(es).
Says the guy whining about something that he thinks might happen.
Well you get paid to not throw hissy fits about your co-workers and bosses. Fans pay money to watch LSU football in many different ways. Maybe if the paradigm changes and LSU starts paying fans to attend games or take their merchandise this comparison would work.

This is damn near a copy and paste of a thread yesterday and all you're doing is inviting people to respond with more "hate". These threads do more harm than good.

Not sure what an Otard is but I'm probably not one. Just a guy that loves LSU football and is pretty shocked the way the fan base is acting. Would swear we've missed a bowl 3 straight years or something.
But thats the way the world is now you are either for us or against us theres no in between. Either you're an O lover or hater. Its dumb. Support the football program and dont be a fair weather fan, its not that hard.

This. The majority of the "hate" towards O and Alleva is sparked by and in bullshite threads like this wherein sensible people have to explain to these knuckle-draggers why questioning O and Alleva doesn't equate to hating LSU or the team.

Never mind that our coaching staff isn't about to be fired in reality- local media and LSU social media insinuate that it is, so recruits start to believe it. In fact, they said as much, this week.

You know what's despicable? Continuing to attribute malevolence to long time LSU fans who worry allowed about the clear misdirection of the program in favor of bullshite propaganda in the face of mismanagement at the level we have not seen at LSU in decades.
But...so long as there are folks whose JOB it is to come here and prop up the current HC there will be the claim that A) anyone upset is not a REAL fan and B) the only way to be a TRUE fan is to blindly support whatever comes out of the Football office in total.

this is simply not true.
O was hired because a portion of our fan base wanted him, and made that known. If the fans are still cheering and and he goes 8-4, he won't be fired. We have seen this already.
The best way to force Alleva to get off his arse and make a change is to make it known you aren't pleased.
So by all means, sit in your seat and clap along. The rest of the fan base will lobby for change, and you can thank us later.

The LSU AD, Board of Supervisors and Administration put us in this position by making ludicrous hires. If you want to be mad, direct it their way.
