If the physical changes are any indication, this team has transformed.

I've noticed a consistent trend this off season. ALL LSU players have gone through a physical transformation.
A few players have gained almost 30 lbs of pure muscle. The kid from McNeese went from 168 to 196. In one summer. Are you kidding me.
This is an actual physical manifestation of the changes BK has made while at LSU. Some of the changes, accountability, leadership, or teamwork can't be as easily noticed, but I'm willing to bet, they are just as substantial.
This LSU team will look nothing like the team that O trotted out last year. I feel totally different than I did last year.
I see a can of whoop-arse in FSU's future.

It sure does look like it. I'd like to lose 30lbs in a summer.

his '14 and '17 ND teams certainly didn't get pushed around by us. physicality has been lacking for a while now.

We have the same talent that we did last year.
Blue Chip Ratio : The percentage of 4 and 5 stars on a team.
I do agree with you we look a lot better physically than in years past. This talent took Bama down to the last play at Tuscaloosa with an incompetent head coach and coaching staff. BK with our talent and his alignment, the sky’s the limit. I think we win this Sunday big, like 20+ big.

Signing blue chips is always a good thing. Would be curious to see that chart after adjustments made for transfer portal and early NFL departures.

Not possible in that amount of time, but I know what you mean.

Still 7th best roster in the country Blue Chip Ratio wise.
The thing the Blue Chip Ratio doesn’t account for is players like Colby Richardson, Ali Gaye, Jay Ward, ect. These players play like Blue Chip prospect and are possibly NFL level talents but out of high school were regarded as only a 3 star or lower. So really by any metric we have a top roster in the country talent wise. This year it will show on the field because of BK and staff, unlike O’s past two season.

O's teams all looked tired in early season games because they would have camp legs.
in 2017 it really showed vs MSU and Troy
in 2018 it wasn't as bad but it could be argued that the Florida game fits this narrative.
in 2019 we won a shootout vs texas but the defense looked gassed by halftime.
in 2020 we start the season 1-2 and conditioning had a lot to do with it.
in 2021 we got dragged by UCLA as our team wore down in that opener.
Just that CBK realizes that camp legs were an issue for the past and has a plan to avoid it this year is an improvemnt all on its own.

Exactly. That chart of “talent” is very deceptive.
What is the player retention over the last 4 seasons? Not real high if your roster is below 40 players for a bowl game and you still do not have an 85 player roster.

Jump on test. Eat lean. Sprints. Weights. Food journal. No alcohol, no food after 6pm. 8hrs sleep.

Didn't help that Tejas didn't have AC in our locker room and dropped the team off a mile from the stadium. It was one hot oven that day.

Not for most people.
Hell to lose lbs you don't really need even that. The rest of what I said will peel it off you.

Not tying to be a Debbie downer, but one can’t gain 30 pounds of pure muscle in one summer.
