LSU has won at least 10 games in four consecutive seasons

We're talking regular season here. Last year we were 9-3.

I know we have talent in the waiting but losing Mett, OB, Landry in our scheme does hurt.
Hopefully we get solid production from our receiving staff this year cause it only helps our running game.
Love my LSU football and I cant wait till it starts. wahoo

The Wisconsin game IMO is the key to the whole season. Because if we win, we have a GREAT chance at starting out 5-0 going into the two week road swing at Auburn and at Florida.

If we can come back from that road trip 6-1, I think we have a chance to win 10 games in the regular season.

offense could be really good this year, but it will be different. last year we had a pocket passer who couldn't move and 2 great receivers. they had a chemistry and mett rarely got to the other receivers. had great 3rd down efficiency.

it's going to be different this year with a mobile qb. this offense is going to threaten with the big play. We ought to see more TE and backs catching the ball out of the backfield. I'm excited.

Great thing about college football - you really don't know what you got until 5 or 6 games into the season. it's the same for everyone.

we've got some really good young kids - I just have the feeling that we'll have some good chemistry.

No one has a working crystal ball here, so no one knows how we will actually do, BUT the realistic potential is very high. Other schools have had high offensive production with frosh/rsfrosh QBs recently. Our Oline + the "Fab 5 freshmen" MAY do even better than last years stats.

Most look to 2015 as a possible 2011ish year. I am not counting on, but hopeful of that kind of year this year. If it happens, then it becomes our turn to roll in the NCs while Bama is the "bridesmaid" for awhile.

I expect we'll finish with 10-11 wins after the bowls. If we get to 10 wins in the regular season, that would be fantastic- and we'd be in position for 2015 national title.
If we get 9 wins, look for a 10th in the bowl and several years of 11+ to follow, with maybe a run at 2016 as a favorite.

Seriously, you are unbearable. Forgive us for not bickering and being optimistic instead of the board's typical pessimism

No I'm just realistic you fkin tard.
You don't lose the skill players we lost on offense and be a better football team.

It's not a rule you have to be extreme one way to the other.

I get that, but there's no reason to shite on the guy because he's being overly optimistic.

It's not like Auburn was loaded or anything last season. The ball just bounced their way a few times and new life was injected into the program. I am in the "10-3ish" crowd, but there's no denying we've got a lot of great young talent. getting state, bama, and ole miss at home is really nice too

And "fkin tard"? Are you really an attorney?

When you have an Oline that we do and an Adrian Peterson back comparison not to mention two real good vets, then you have a WR compared to Julio jones or the Georgia WR as a freshman, BH and then another great freshman WR in Trey, another very good vet WR and you can produce after losing the guys we did. The Dline will be key IMO also QB play. I think the skill positions will produce and where we lack in WR play the backs and TEs make up. We will see?
