I know that Texas will most probably play Alabama for the National Championship Game, but let's just say Texas "officially" lost last night's game.

Let's say TCU, a team from a non-automatic BCS Conference, plays Bama ande beats them, what does that do to the future of the BCS?

We have seen upsets before, namely Utah upsetting Bama last year in the Sugar Bowl and Boise beating Oklahoma a few years ago in the Fiesta. However, no non-automatic team has ever played in the BCS Championship Game.

What would happen if TCU gets there and beats Bama? Does that mean the BCS is on its way out eventually and a playoff system advanced? With Texas playing Bama in the Championship Game, the same ole' same ole' will continue.

I think TCU would have a better chance than Texas. Texas relies on quarterback and receiver glitz to score lots of points. Attack those positions in the scheme and keep a linebacker around for the quarterback draw and Texas will get rattled. Nebraska could have easily won last night with no offense at all. Texas is in big trouble against any top SEC team. If the game had been yesterday, Bama would have run over them. It doesn't look good for Texas.

But LSU and Florida have already demonstrated the keys to winning in our thrashings of Oklahoma.

It would be a tremendous loss to the BCS - seeing such stupid match-ups in bowl games - But wait, what if one team who isn't supposed to be a part of the party crash the whole party!
