I'd say Arkie in that scenario

They would 100% give LSU Texas A&M. They wouldn’t even talk about it.

1. Huge LSU Alumni base in general area (Houston)

Austin is just as close to BCS

2. Pretty cool destination campus

I’ve been and it’s a lot of windy nothingness

3. Should always have a good team

But they rarely actually do

4. They are a hateable institution for LSU which is great for rivalry purposes.

I find them more pitiable than hateable

Gotta be a school without another in state school.

That is more than half the SEC

Ark
Missouri
Ok
Kentucky
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
LSU

Schools that share a stat
Ole Miss/Moo State
Alabama/Auburn
Tennessee/Vanderbilt

There are traditional rivalries now that will absolutely happen
Ole Miss/Moo State
Alabama/Auburn
Texas/Oklahoma
Florida/Georgia

That leaves these 6

Ark
Missouri
Kentucky
South Carolina
LSU
Vanderbilt
A&M
Tennessee

I think it ends up
Ark/Mizzou
LSU/A&M (though personally I prefer the Arkansas rivalry)

Leaving Tennessee, Vandy, USCe, and Kentucky to sort out. If it were up to me I would go

Tenn/Kentucky
Vandy/USCe

I think Texas/ Oklahoma is a no Brainer in your scenario more so than UT- ATM thus probably leaving us ATM or mayyyybe Arky but most likely ATM in your scenario

There is zero chance Texas and OU wouldn’t be permanent.
