Does the committee put them at 4 or 5?

It would be an interesting question.

I think LSU and Ohio State are locks MOST LIKELY.

OSU stays at 1. We beat UGA, but don't cover the 7.5, drop to 3. Clemson goes to 2. Bama sneaks in at 4.

To #4

Wisconsin would be the new #1 and they would play a third time

LSU stays at 2 and plays Clemson

They'd fall to a weaker #1 because they'd still have that super duper impressive win over the greatest 2 loss team in the history of football, not just college, of football in total in Penn State.

I think a lot of it depends on if LSU loses as well. Assuming LSU wins, I think Ohio State falls to 4.

The real question is, where would Kansas be?

Ohio St would drop to 3. Georgia gets in with a win over LSU but not sure which would be ranked 3 and which would be 4

If Ohio State loses they will stay at #1. Wisconsin will move to #5, Penn State and Michigan will move up a spot or two.

While LSU has had a great season, it would be utterly illogical not to put UGA #3 and LSU #4 in that event.

Two 12-1 teams with two shared big wins (UF, Auburn). You put the head-to-head winner above.

If UGA beats LSU, there is no scenario that has LSU ahead of UGA. You are correct.
