Pretty much minimal chance. However, O is “Louisiana Style” ... Tab Benoit “Louisiana Style”...Cajun Man Got The Blues style. He fit...but only in a tight window, only here and only at one point in time. It remains to be seen if that point in time is more than a speck.

Yes

USC
Nebraska
Michigan
Florida St

A pipeline of Louisiana talent plus existing talent would make him an attractive hire.

Were big programs lining up for Coker or Chizik? Because that’s the situation.

Did Coker or Chizik build their teams or did they inherit the talent?

With an NC, you would think college programs would be lining up to hire him if the O haters get their way.

But, I think this season and the events of this year would make it unlikely that any top major program would hire him as head coach.

Chizik was in the same situation as Orgeron and you know it. Stop acting like any of this is unprecedented

O would replace Napier when he makes his big leap.

Only one way to really know, but no one wanted Chizik (sp?) in 2013 and it’s pretty much the exact same situation.

I don’t think Nebraska would hire O.

To be fair, I don’t think O would want to go to Nebraska, either.

No. Les was a better coach and he could only find the worst D1 program to hire him.

I don’t know about “major program” but Kansas would hire him (they took Les Miles after all).

Given that no one outside of Louisiana can understand a single word he’s saying, I really doubt O would be hired by any national media to do TV

If he’s fired from LSU he will wind up a DC for a power 5/recruiter which is his place on the totem pole. That’s if he doesn’t retire. He’s gonna be 60 next year.
